Laurie Daley coaching NSW is a big big worry, the guy is horrendous...The ONLY thing stopping me from going hard on QLD is the 3 NSW refs AND most important is that Gyngell paid through the roof for the broadcast rights and will want 1-1 heading into the decider to maximise his $$$....Can anyone see NSW winning in QLD if QLD win today?
Channel 9 control the game, just look at the amount of times the panthers are on Sunday 3pm and the broncos get there cushy Friday night games.....

Very possible chance this game may get resolved via a field goal, so grabbed the extremely small spread on offer as opposed to the ML. Maroons with the classiest backline ever assembled and a group of forwards led by Cam Smith, the best big game player in league. Queensland opened as favorites for a reason. NSW yet to gel and have many a headcase in the ranks plus the guts of the Storm 'spine' owned the Chooks halves recently. Blues are a 'Frankenstein's monster' created from parts. Feel safer with my money on a proven team as opposed to one prone to recent failure. Only going small because it's Game 1, no need to be silly...
