Yea agree with that thought process as well. Think the saints with the points looks good value to me. They very really get blown out and there are many players who will have a chip on their shoulder and want to put wayne in his place.

Yeah, so much hype around them that it is scary to back them now. 

Bennett lost his first game with the Dragons but is 19-4 in opening round games since his 1st season at the Broncos in 1988.

Dragons are 11-2 overall in Newcastle and haven't lost at 'Hunter Stadium' since 2003.

'Chicken Legs' Ceccin who recently 'came out of the closet' is the ref tonight and that is 'dodgy' in more ways than one.

WB does get his sides out of the blocks very quickly most seasons. The back ends however have been a bit of a horror story over the last decade or so in amongst a couple of premierships.

Lean Eels. Team had a shitty season in 2011 and get a chance to exorcise some demons right off the bat for 2012 in front of the Plodder faithful. 1st time the Broncs have opened the season on the road in 9 years, no Lockyer means no closer (his end game kicking prowess and general in-game IQ got them the lollies most of the time). Wet track gives the dog an evener playing field. Think the line is a Hayne overreaction given past poor numbers without him on the paddock. Brisbane are a good young side but I need to see how they play minus the staplemate they had the luxury of running the side in Lockyer, believe they'll experience a few hiccups early (particularly in the final 30 minutes or thereabouts) so the 'value' in my opinion lies with the home side. Probably a better game to sit out but it's the much anticipated opening round so will most likely play it...
