Man that was a hard loss to take. Even with the injuries they still should have been able to get the win and what the bloody hell was with Merritt taking a drop kick attempt. They just got rushed and were unable to get the job done when they had the best chance to do so

Looking over the 2 games we have on the slate tonight still , will have plays up shortly as have some strong leans just have to check out a couple things.

Had a good night last night going 3-2 with a stupid live bet, but that srt of thing can not be helped. That live bet was meaning knights +6.5 at the end of play.

Warriors/Saints Over 42.5 5 units @ $1.90

This game strikes me a track meet. So far to start the season both sides are 4-2 on totals which is a good sign for the over backers such as myself. When these 2 teams got together early on in the season there was plenty of points and see no reason why that should not happen again tonight.

I am a little undecided on the line for this game. I would lean to the dog in the Warriors, however they do not travel well at all the Saints may be fired up off the bad MNF loss. But at the same time teams off MNF have not been that great ATS following up the next weekend. I can not find to many reasons to back either side really.

Sharks/Chooks Over 38.0 5 units @ $1.90

Think we have an over game on our hands here tonight as well. Both teams have been poor, Sharks the worst in the competition and are yet to bother to show up and play at all really. Think this game could be a blow out one with a few tries scored tonight. I know this play is going against the stats, but this is just a feeling play that I have. Hard to back either side really with points or laying chalk. About time the Chooks blow out and score some points and get the mojo going.

Got a good weekend rolling right now, winning back some of what I lost last weekend. Have 3 games left for the weekend and some pretty strong leans for 2 of the 3 games.

Underdogs went 1-1 last night so really I expect that there should be perhaps 1 more favourite cover this weekend from the last 3 games if we go on what has been happening over the first 6 weeks of the competition.

Which team will it be????

Any body think the Green Machine can get up over the Storm down in ACT later on today?

Have been thinking about the game today and just can not look past the Green Machine in this one today.

Raiders +2.5 5 units @ $1.90

Raiders so far at home have been super poor going 0-2 Su and ATS. However they are 3-0-1 ATS when they are not required to lay the chalk and that is a spot we have here today. Storm got very lucky to get out of jail last week on Monday night footy and really should not have won that game as we all know. Not to mention the Storm are 1-6 ATS to open the season and I know in this spot that 2 points is not a lot to hope for if want a team to cover. However I think the Raiders are due a win at home and have been a bogy side for the Storm over the past few seasons.

Just looking over the possibility of another play for this game but right now this is all I have for the card today.

Have had a look over the games for tonight and here goes for the last 2 games of the day.

Picks:

Eels/Tigers Over 46.5 5 units @ $1.90

The Eels are 3-3 on totals to open the season which is ok and over the past few years they have been an over betters best friend. I believe will see a few points in this one today with no Farah in the middle of the park Hayne should be able to make meters up their. Tigers are 4-2 on totals which does tend to lean to the over. I know this total is a high one and does make it a lot harder to hit but still think the over is a big chance here today.

Still looking over the last game. I think the Panthers should to far to good for the Titans who have been lucky so far to open the season and in my opinion they are due a massive let down spot and on the road for MNF is a good spot for that to happen. Titans have opened the season as dogs 6 of their 7 games and lead the comp, please make sense of that. Only game they were favoured they got owned by the tigers which makes even less sense.

Titans/Panthers Over 37.5 5 units @ $1.90

Really like this one over as well. I know that both teams have a good under record. Panthers are 1-5 on totals to open the season, the Titans are 2-4 on totals. So I am going right against the stats for this one. But the Panthers have a pretty good attack and finally get a game that should be played in good conditions and make for good open running footy. Titans are due a defensive lapse game and think that comes tonight.
