NRL Week 2

NRL YTD 10-4 +4.90 units

Well had a good start last week and looking to keep the ball rolling this week with some more good and well thoughout plays. Your thoughts and comments welcome as always.

Sea Eagles +1.5 2 units @ $1.90

Well really like this play a lot and have made it a large play. Really believe that this line is a gift and when I see a gift i will jump and jump hard. The Sea Eagles looked good on sunday in auckland and now they get their home opener and they are getting points. Yes people saying they have been doing a lot of travel lately but really can you call first class hard work. NO. The tigers on the other hand should have lost to the sharks and got out of jail some how with a horrible call by a ref who is now no longer working. Eagles to get the job done by 4-6 points in my opnion.

Broncos -6.0 1 unit @ $1.90

Well al ot of noise about how the cowgurls can not play as bad as they did last week. Well hate to break the news but really they can. They have to go into suncorp and play the mighty Broncos in their home openerin which should be close to a sell out. The Broncos looked shakey early last week but then put the eels to restin the 2nd half. I expect the same thing this week with the game being close in first half and then the broncos pull away in the 2nd half to get the win by 10-14 points.

Well have not really got a strong lean yet on the totals with me leaning over on both but the stats would suggest otherwise. Last year FNF was an unders night going 19-28 on the total. But all the same still like their to be some points tonight.

I am against on both plays, Broncos didn't look great beating parra and i am still think cowboys are a great team (top 4 material) Tigers are my team so take everything i say about them with a grain of salt

Little iffy on Manly without Matai and Stewart, but they should have enough depth. The only worry about the Cowboys is they can't get any worse than last week, but I agree Bronco's should win comfortably, probably over 12.

Weather forecasts are good for the overs too.

Yea the more i look at the totals and the attacking talent of all 4 treams the more i like the totals.

Well have had a look over and think and i am going to play the totals becoz im a gambling degen.

Sea Eagles/Tigers over 36.5 1 unit @ $1.90

Well really think this game should go over. Both teams have a lot of attacking talent and should be able to put up some points in this game with the weather being points friendly.

Broncos/Cowgurls over 38.5 1 unit @ $1.90

Well the cowgurls D was horrible last week and this Broncos team has a lot ore attacking flare than the ttians did. Both teams again have a lot of talent to attack with and the conditions will be points friendly.

But isnt Foran in doubt? If he doesnt play, i dont see how they win without him, Stewart and Matai...

He has been named to play rostos and really see no reason why he wouldnt play. Matai is a good player but just one that i do not rate at all. He is a hot head and usually gives away more penalties than he is worth to the team.

Yea really like both totals tonight. Thinking that if my Chiefs plays get up than could upgade both to 2 unit plays but dont want to much  out in bets at once ae.

Either way should be good rugby tonight

Well what a game that was. Sea Eagles looked very sugglish in that 1st half but they turned it on for the 2nd and found some much needed points for my totals play.

Now going to have to sweat out the Broncos 2nd half where i need another big comeback

Well turned out to be a good night over all so cant complain to much just wish my Broncos had got up for the win atleast. But what can you do. Going to have a look over todays games now and will have some plays up soon.

Well have been having a look and this is what i have to start the night.

Picks:

Raiders +2.5 2 unit @ $1.90

Well the titans did win last week but really it was a weak victory and they still struggled to score points as they did last year. This raiders team will not play as bad as the cowgurls did and should be good for the Su win this arvo. They looked very good against the Storm and should be better for it this week. I just cant see the titans improving enough on attack to win this arvo and their D wasnt really wasnt tested and im sure dugan will have somethiing to say about that.

Doggies +4.5 1 unit @ $1.90

Well this play is based more on the fact that the saints dont really blow teams away more than the ability of doggies to win Su. They did get a good win last week over the panthers and they will be better for it. They came home strong and the new combos started to play well together. They will be much improved this week. Saints got a good win over their former coach and looked to be in their normal patterns. Think this will be one of those games that will be close throughout and good game to watch.

Dont have a read on the totals just yet but im sure will have a play later on.
