also with widdop and smith, i know they knew widdop was out when lines opened but smith out is a big one, storm in a close one seems the go.

Guess they assume a very low scoring game so points will be hard to come by, kicking game is even more important and they lost widdop and smith

Tigers were the 'luckiest' team in the comp once.

Basically you could say every team that wins was lucky then, lucky the other team didn't show up, lucky so and so dropped the ball, lucky so and so missed the kick, lucky so and so caught the ball contesting it with 5 other defenders.

It's the nature of the game, bit of luck, bit of skill. Decision making is the key, imo. 85% mental...
