gotta good feeling about the dogs...seen a lot of people on the seagles which makes me feel better about the doggies. i think people just expect that manly are due to bounce back and the doggies are due for a loss. which is pretty much a rubbish theory.

Have a hard time seeing Hasler come out of Brooky with a win all things considered. Got a couple of dickhead refs going tonight with what should be a rabid Manly crowd baying for Des's blood. Scary though as the Dogs are pretty much statistically superior across the board but will ride the intangibles and the shitty Brookvale track...

a real shame to see you on the other side, i think capping with a clear mind really helps. dogs are the better team forget the other factors, this is how i began gambling and it worked unfortunately as i became more hooked i began looking at trends/patterns/refs/travel all that and it really clouds your mind, sometimes there are steals out there that i havent taken because i've talked myself out of it.

however the dogs are obviously no guarentee tonight, i just think that they are the better team and the play

Dogs have caught teams at the right time throughout their win streak. Impressive but not overly. Playing at the Brook on a Friday night presents problems for opposing sides. Would think Manly have had this game circled for many weeks and I totally expect them to bring it. In reference to the Brooky track, it should slow down the Dogs up front and quell the speed out wide...

Refs were dickheads last night but that was expected, pretty obvious the NRL sees the Dogs as this years golden boys. Manly clearly lacked the finishing skill of Stewart, expected a bit more from them though. After Whare gifted Barba the 1st try, given the opening the Seagles had - I knew it was all downhill from there. Like Gus said during the commentary, "If Barba put his hand down a toilet, he'd pull out a gold watch". Only fitting the forum's resident 'luck expert' and conspiracy theorist supports the 'luckiest' team in the comp.

Haha did you see what the birds coach said, it was a joke really. yea some bad calls but really kinda went both ways and he suggested perrett was offside, no he wasnt.

A lot people not happy about his comments. His team was just not the better team on the night and could not finish their chances.

Despite his 2 tries last nights, how is Barba Lucky?

What is lucky about beating defenders, stepping them, and going through them lucky? That is 100% skill.

When i refer to luck, the biggest luck factor is tries off kicks , bombs where 3-4 players go up for it and it bounces off a shoulder and lands into someone arms to score OR the ball deflects off legs etc etc....

We scored 2 Lucky tries last night, but the one to Perret was not luck, that was aka Sherwin to El masri..Man was unmarked and he kicked it perfectly for a chest mark...

Barba , apart from last night is not lucky, but pure skill , athleticism and pace......

Toovey is just filthy that the refs didnt cheat for him and called a fairly even game....He knows he cant coach, he cant coach, he relies on the brooky crowd to get in the refs ear and cheat for them....

After losing just one of their first nine games against the Warriors in Auckland, the Knights have lost six straight stretching back to their last win on the other side of the Tasman in 2005.

For Newcastle to have any chance, they'll have to match the Warriors up the middle. No doubt the Warriors watched the Souths game all week.

I think the Knights caught a huge break last week by beating Manly who really didnt turn up....Dont get me wrong, it was a good win, but masked IMO
