Canterbury Bulldogs at Manly Sea Eagles

The play...

Bulldogs $1.75 (3 to win 2.25)

Popular play on the boards it appears which is always scary. 

Last week was an 'under-siege' and 'circle the wagons' game for Manly and they played accordingly with some help from the refs to get them the win in the face of adversity. This week I think they fall flat, Doggies pack should set the precedent going forward over the Seagles light-weight unit. Hopefully the refs don't get in the way which is often the case at Brooky. 

Leaned Cow in the Queensland derby but they dusted up Brisbane in the previous two meetings last season (including the finals) and the last thing Wayne would want is to lose first-up to little brother on his Brisbane comeback tour. Staying away.

Thoughts about Panthers +7.5 vs the Roosters? I know Soward is out with an injury but seems like a lot to give the Panthers. This team was smacked around last season with injuries but regardless, Cleary got the best of out his young players and they went far into the season.

Warriors -6.5 $1.75 (2 to win 1.5)

Bought a point off the spread, doubt it matters. Have the NZ Dubs by plenty but 7 is becoming a key number in the NRL.

Will pay to see the Eels hang on the road until they break one off in my a$$.

Thought Shaun Johnson was gonna fcuk that up for us. Not sure why he went for the under-pressure drop goal rather than the 2 from the penalty. 

Not the sharpest team in the comp, that's for sure.

Wests Tigers at South Sydney Rabbitohs

Rabbitohs -12.5 (2 units)

Even though it's a potential letdown spot for the Bunnies after last week's heroics, I can't back against them here. Souths on a mission and it's unlikely they overlook the Tigers like they did in this spot last season. Wests co-leaders with Souths atop the ladder after back to back wins over the comp's easy-beats.

Bunnies romp, imo.

Bunnies lethargic as fcuk. Tigers have to mentally dented though giving up 10 points in 5 minutes though.

Rostos - sometimes luck is needed in any sports. Farah's drop ball was the luck that Emkee needed and im glad it hit for him.
