If the Bunnies are for real, they win this game. Period. Fact they were in this exact spot last season and pooped themselves will help them, imo...

Storms weakness has been that right hand side defense. It got torched against Manly and the Titans with Dave Taylor running a muck out there.

Unfortunately for Souths, that is not their strength in attack. It is their left which is Melbourne's right.

Last week was an emotional game for souths, playing for the minor premiership. Storm have been flat, but I think family men veterans - the big 3 are looking for a weekend off.

This is going to be tight...But I think Melbourne get one here. The only question is how Widdop is going to handle the Burgess boys running at him. Big question mark after that big injury.

WOW, talk about Karma...exactly the opposite try of what Storm scored when they played a few weeks ago in Melbourne

If you want to bolster your account, just back Souths in the next game...The NRL really need them in the GF...Imagine the hype and hysteria? NRL is down across key performance indicators...crowds and ratings being 2....The men in pink showed what instructions they received tonight..

How was that not a try to the Storm?

Agree that was a try to Billy, they give that and Souths were a great chance of losing. They didn't which, imo saved my bet.

he suprisingly didnt go nuts, he did say he thought the 2nd one should have been a try but he said waqa's no try was fair enough. Maybe he was given instructions pre game too rostos

The first non to Waqa was fair enough...But the 2nd try was definitely a try...

You can do worse things in your life than bet on Souths next game....The NRL definitely want them in the GF...It would be a wankfest, Burgess boys, their mum, all the history...all the old greats will come out of the woodwork...

No way the NRL let SOuths lose before the GF

I would like to see how penalties Souths get inside their own 30m. They have to be leading the competition. Seems like they always get a legup from the refs when coming out of their own 22.

I have to admit the whole Burgess thing and their old lady is getting annoying. Camera always pans out to Momma Burgess in Rusty's box at least 10 times a game. Over it...

Couple of decent games tonight.

Do the Cows get 'jobbed' again like they did in last year's finals by the refs ? Remember the 'try' awarded to Foran in that game ? One of the worst in terms of a blatant 'fix'...

Pair of shitty refs going for this one as well - Cecchin and Perenara.

Chooks v Seagles will be as physical as they come. Bloodbath...

Here are some scenarios...

Do the NRL want sharks out of the finals to avoid potential embarrassment regarding ASADA....That is, they go deep in the post season and even win it and they get found out at the end of the year?

The NRL want a Qld team to stay in the finals to broaden the interest?

I know one thing....The Rabbitohs are the Miami heat of the NRL....

Riding the hot hand. Best possible match-up for the streaking Cows given the history and I'm very impressed with their defense right now.

Teams off scoring 50 points are 10-6 SU and against the line since 2011 while teams off six straight wins are 34-18 SU.

If the Chooks lose, there won't be a Rabbitohs/Roosters Final which is what the NRL really wants, imo (especially after watching the Bunnies game last night). Sydney 10-2 SU (9-3 ATS) when favored at home by less than 6 and in the last 4 years no team has won or covered in the 1st round of the Finals off a double digit loss (Manly).

Square as fcuk though which is always a concern and it's very hard to beat a team 3 times in one season...
