It's weird to me that the refs wait for crowd or player reactions before calling penalties. Waiting for the aftermath of a play to make your call seems crazy.

Once the Panthers stop going sideways and go forwards they actually look all right, other than that not looking too good

all in all, that was a first class half from manly, they also did get lucky with Coote dropping a clean pass with the line open.....

WILL Manly be able to maintain this in the second half?

Yea think the NRL could be in trouble, players now know that if u even get a flick to the head stay down and you get a penalty. Need to change that, Travis burns on report and even the commentators say there was nothing there. How can this bs continue

The ref called the penalty cause the video review of the hit showed contact with the head. If the ref saw it cleanly he'd have paid a penalty instantly.
