I have been watching more NFL lately due to Hayne. Everyone wanks on hard about the quarter back, but my observation is, it really comes down to the offensive lineman and the people who accept passes like wide recievers....
I watched that Denver Broncos / Detroit Lions game last night. Everyone keeps on wanking on about that Peyton Manning and how good he is and how rubbish that Lions QB Stafford is.....but seriously, Manning had sooooo much more time to do whatever he wanted and whenever he did pass to someone, they were in so much better position where as Stafford continually had someone down his throat.........
Sure the QB is important, but it seems to me that the QB is really only as good as his offensive blockers are and how free his wide recievers can get.
The more time you get, the better decisions you can make and be more effective and the more free your wide recievers can get, the less onus on the QB to make a perfect pass.
