Well its back. Had a good season last year lets see if cant keep that going this year and make some more money and have some fun with it.

This game should be a real cracker to open the season. Hawks Bay where the team that moved up from the lower division last year and think they will have another good season again this year. They do have 1 of their AB's playing tonight. Dont have any stats for the game other than Auckland did win both thier pre season games and the Bay split thier games but they really have no bearing on this game. I do think that home field will be huge and could be a difference maker in the game tonight. Also they do have a real game breaker in the form of Zac out on the wing.

Home advantage helps but I think Auckland win tonight. Some key HB forwards are gone and a patchy looking backline. I agree with that other guy; Anscombe to have a big year and auckland to start with a good win tonight.

Well the new rules are ok. But really instead of making more laws they need to fix the ones that are already in place perhaps. Because really the ruck and mall seems to get worse not better. This is not complaining about losing becasue auckland where the better team in the first half but really towards the end of the game they got a few good calls that may have been the difference. Either way good to have the cup up and going and means have Rugby every night of the week.

Have been looking over the 2 games that we have on the card tonight.

Was a shame last night, i forgot to have a look at the total last night pre game, but the over was the right play and think for the first week atleast the overs if low enough could be the way to go. Will post some total plays later when have the numbers and if like them enough.

Really the Turbos are missing their 2 most key players that where really the reason they played well last year. Neither team has really played that well in preseason and just think that with both the arrons out the Turbos will struggle to keep the game close tonight.

Tasman +14.5 1 unit @ $1.90

Big brother and little brother at play tonight. In recent times these games have been a lot closer than you would expect and think at home they should have enough to keep the game withing 2 converted tries. Tasman has been impressive in preseason but it has been against weaker teams but they did beat Otago down in the deep south which will be a huge benefit to them and could be enough to have them up and ready to compete in this one tonight.
