I am a big Eels fan and I say good luck, he is probably the best all round athlete the nrl has to offer, once he learns the rules and finds his right position he will become a good player in the nfl, we all have dreams that we want to accomplish before it's too late and I wish him nothing but the best moving to another country and sport nobody should criticise that.

After he learns the game, he will play in the NFL for sure, might only be as a special teams player but he will be playing he's not going to be the next marshawn lynch and may go threw a few rosters, do you think he is dumb enough to go over there cold turkey, he would have made contact or his management will have something lined up he won't be a superstar but he will play a nfl game

Not to sure if many NfL players would make it in the nrl g'day, it's already been trialled and our game is too demanding the 80 minutes of continuous play up and down the field attacking and defending, I would love to see a player come and try there luck in nrl would be great for the game

You're probably right - they are such specialist positions in NFL, plus qb's throw too many forward passes, receivers are forever offside and some of those huge defenders wouldn't last 10 minutes.

Reading this old thread makes me laugh, as if Jarryd Hayne won't make it as a NFL player. We are talking about an elite athlete that is capable of being an NFL sensation, he may be new to the carry and run game of NFL but won't look out of place and will mesmerize spectators with his brilliance.
Bookmark this, Jarryd will have your talent scouts looking in our backyard for years to come with the abundance of champions we have, Australian athletes are outstanding and can easily make the transition to sports they haven't played before like NFL.

Haynesy with a pretty decent debut,old mate got a bit fortunate on his 53 yard run as the 49ers had beasts like Bruce Miller on at the time going up against John's Wests rejected tuna plodders for the Texans,it was basically Bruce Miller vs the Parramatta Eels.
