Ah, Mr. Chabal......who made my heart skip and almost explode with your 79th Minute flub pass last weekend.

Ian Smith, who refereed the 50-10 Reds pounding of the Force is on tonight as the ref again.

Not only did he favor attacking style of football in the last match....and that is the style of football Queensland plays.......but......and this is a BIG BUT.....

Everytime the Reds get into a good position into the Force's 22, they turn it over or lose it forward. 

Plenty of time left, but it is clear the Reds were the wrong side here.  Only thing Force had going for it was their advantage in the tight five.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd everyone is slapping each other around at the end of the Half and it is the Reds who get the yellow card, down to 14 to start the 2nd Half and give the Force another 3.



I should change my screen name to Heartoverhead because the statistics and past history meant nothing.  Zero.  My gut was right.

Reds' execution and discipline has been disgraceful.

You know, the funny thing is, I took an hour nap before the game....and in my half sleep I saw the Reds getting yellowed for a punch-up.....that's what woke me up to get downstairs for the game.

I laughed it off as always wanting to see the biff.  And then when I saw the scrum at the end of the Half, I froke and said, "OH SHIT!"

Penalty to the Reds, quick tap and go, and Reds player gets hammered 7 metres from the infringement spot AND NO PENALTY CALL FOR 10m infraction.

Even the announcers said they were wondering about the no 10m call.
