- The TAB get their odds for NBA, MLB, NFL from pinnacle.

- The TAB absolutely make "shit loads" of cash during the NRL season.

- They have 1 bettor who bets only on overs and unders in the NRL who moves the market himself. They have an agreement and limit with him  as to how much he can win, He has a doctorate in actuary, and is simply "too good for them".

- NRL players bet on games. They bet in different names, They cannot do anything about it, they know who they are, but their hands are tied.

- Tom Waterhouse "did his ass". He spent too much on advertising etc etc, ruined it for everyone else in terms of new legislation brought in. William Hill bought a stake in his company, He will get a $70 mill bonus if certain targets are met, however, he says the TAB couldn't even reach these targets such they are so high. Apparently Tom even regrets doing what he did, My mate has known Tom since school.

- They have about 20 bookmakers who take on live betting, If live betting online comes through with legislation, it will increase to 70 bookmakers..

 

 

Can you ask your mate to make some changes to the TAB Rewards program?

Confused why any heavy punter, who is smart would do alot of his betting with a tab.

So how would I know that the TAB get their odds from pinnacle for USA sports if I don't have a friend that works at the TAB?

because its common knowledge. 98% of the books in the world do it. You think all these books in Australia and the UK spend top dollar on price assesors when they can just pay somebody $25 an hour to copy pinnacle

TAB odds have nothing in common with pinnacle

Pinnacle is the world standard for odds on non-American sport.

Whether or not other bookmakers take/copy their odds from them is another story.

American sporting odds is set or at the very least influenced by the men at Don Best.

It is all getting mixed nowadays with the global market.

My dream life would be to move to Australia and become a TAB broker.

Asked my Aussie mates about this and one of my mates who knows a guy who is a TAB broker said he makes a fistful, especially during the NRL/AFL season.

I don't ask for much in life.....but to live this dream would be amazing for me.

And if the TAB did not get their U.S. sport from Pinnacle, they would be in trouble.

When I was in with Betstar, I was taking them pretty heavily quite quickly.  Because B-Star is more into the ponies, they sent me an inquiry and quickly found out that I was an American.

BAN.

They were very courteous about it and even sympathetic to me regarding the fascist U.S. laws in place on money transferring and gambling.

Yet, I was banned.

Their lines were ridiculously soft, especially their live lines.  Their in-play MLB lines were DOLLARS off what they should been at the time.  I don't think they had linesmakers who understood the sport of baseball.

Example:  3-1 Royals over the Yankees in the 3rd Inning.  Yankees would move to something like $3.50 to win.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!  POUND!  POUND!  POUND!

An easy $3.50 after the game ends 7-4, New York.

Oh well.
