2011 Footy season starts tonight... Awesome... I'm expecting big things from the tigers this year... They have a great looking roster with alot of good back up players if any injuries decide to hoon their season... I'm also expecting a decent performance from the raiders... Its the best squad they've had in ages and this might be the year...

I agree with Ace. There is something seriously wrong out there.

The Penrith NYC team got fucking smashed by Newcastle, 62-16.

The Wolves got Smashed by the Newcastle reserves 40-18.

First grade got smashed (without Costigan for the full game and Gidley for half of it) 42-8, with Penriff's only try coming after the siren.

I'm the Knights biggest fan, but most neutral pundits wouldn't have thought Newcastle sides, esp 1G and NYC (the Centurions were quite strong on paper) would go down to Penriff and put over 100 points on them in the afternoon.

One of the biggest nurseries of talent and they laid down and rolled over.

 

 

 

 

 

Of course, it's only one round.. but I wouldn't put Rostos' money on Penriff making the 8, let alone the 4.
