regardless of the situation to begin with, or the money to coax a story out of someone, any bloke who dives into one of these gang-bangs is a complete disgrace 
the scariest part of that report were the responses from that young group of Newcastle Toyota Cup players. Clearly, we can expect the kind of behaviour, attitudes and incidents that have littered the past, to continue

Both sides contribute to this. What does a young girl think is going to happen when she is approached by a couple of large blokes; football under one arm, dick under the other, who say 'wanna come back to the hotel for a chat?'

No. Being a MAN is not about sticking your dick in some bird who's too young or too drunk to know better.
There's nothing heroic or masculine about lining up with half a dozen teammates to "take a turn".
Decent blokes don't get involved in those kind of situations.

You know what mate, I think some, SOME of the girls in these situations had the misnomer that they'd be treated to a normal "intimate experience" when they agreed to go behind closed doors with a footballer(s).
I mean, back then why SHOULD they have expected anything different ? Nowadays, sure, with all the reports about footballers behaviour, girls are forewarned and should know to expect the worst.
I just don't buy the line "she should have known what to expect". Yeah "she" should have expected that sex was likely on the menu that night, but not with numerous other blokes jumping in and demanding their turn or watching ect.

JT, I don't condone this behaviour at all, and I'm not blaming the victim. OK, so "she" could be assumed to have expected that she was going to have sex with two men whom she hardly knew in a hotel room. No crime there, different strokes for different folks.
But I don't think "she" can completely absolve any role in the situation.
The policeman last night said this girl was 'young', even for a 19 year old. Fair enough.
But a simple 'no thanks' may have prevented this shit from happening to her at all.
