I've been following the Broncos ever since they came into being and I think I've got a pretty good nose for how they're travelling at any given time throughout a season.

    And I sense S-L-U-M-P

Physically I think they're going to do it extremely tough with the bulk of their back line committed to origin

mentally / emotionally I see today's defeat really knocking the confidence of some of the players. And generally when Brisbane loses it's confidence the weeks following look like this:

Why did Brisbane buy Aaron Gorrell?

Why did Henjak go with 3 hookers today?

I don't know mate, but every good number nine Brisbane has had in recent years they've allowed to go ----> Luke Pridis, Michael Ennis, Shaun Berrigan

This has been coming for a while though JT.

They just look to be completely lacking confidence, which they shouldn't.

Oh, how Bennett would be good right now for them.

I said that Newcastle would expose the myth last week and I meant it. They have made a real mess of recruitment this year. Why buy Gorrell at all? If PJ wasn't fit, they still had McCollouch (spelling) who is a handy enough replacement.

They have an aging champion in Lockyer who now has an ordinary pack to play behind. Hodges and Folau are guns, but who's around them.

Brisbane have bluffed their way thus far imo

I said that Newcastle would expose the myth last week and I meant it. They have made a real mess of recruitment this year. Why buy Gorrell at all? If PJ wasn't fit, they still had McCollouch (spelling) who is a handy enough replacement.

They have an aging champion in Lockyer who now has an ordinary pack to play behind. Hodges and Folau are guns, but who's around them.

Brisbane have bluffed their way thus far imo

the thing that FCUKEN annoys me AB is if the roles were reversed and Brisbane limped into Brookvale at 2-6 and Manly was 6-2, there's just no way in hell the Sea Eagles would allow the Broncos to win. No way in hell.

Yeah, I've been mightily unimpressed with Brisbane lately as well. Even in their win over Parramatta there were glimpses of things that decent teams would exploit to the hilt.

Bottom line is Brisbane's forward pack is sub-par and compounding that is the fact they have no "get out of jail" in the form of a dummy half that can steal yards up the middle when the going gets tough

I think there's very few teams in the NRL the Broncos could beat at this point in time.

if you know anybody who bitches about the last disallowed titans try then send them my way. I'll set them straight. Clear penalty

And is there a better hole runner in the game then Ben Rogers?

Physically I think they're going to do it extremely tough with the bulk of their back line committed to origin

mentally / emotionally I see today's defeat really knocking the confidence of some of the players. And generally when Brisbane loses it's confidence the weeks following look like this:

    L
    L
    L
    L
    L

can be out of the 8 this time next week

Oh hold the fcuking phone a minute, I've just seen the footage of Jamie Lyon's 2nd and 3rd tries, ARE YOU FCUKING KIDDING ME??

the "grounded with his torso" one was just flat out disgraceful and the final one was a carbon copy of Brett Stewart / Jarrod Hayne's recent efforts that were PENALISED for tipping the ball forward and regathering to score.

Brisbane should never have been in a position to have lost that game.

That decision against the Titans' last try was dubious as well. No wonder Cartwright's blowing up.

Haven't seen footage of Lyon's efforts, so can't comment.

I'm with Second on the Prince one though, he had Junior Sau around the neck, penalty.

looked to me like they were tangled. I certainly didn't see Prince grab him. If he did, fair enough, even though it would've had absolutely no affect on William Zillman scooting over down low on the other side of the ruck.

I think the referees are having far too much say on results. I mean as a fan, as a punter, you sit there with your heart in your mouth just waiting / expecting pedantic penalties to be given.

And with the comp so even the sound of a whistle is what's deciding a hell of a lot of these games. The whole ruck, what is, what isn't a hold-down, arm around the neck, dominant / surrender bullshit is just one giant cluster fuck

I want to take the Roosters, I really do. But I can't get that Anzac Day debacle out of my head.

Reckon there's very little value in taking the Storm as favourites in this situation - where they have tired / banged up bodies backing up from representative games.

I just know I'll kick myself if I surrender some of the winnings I just made in the netball on Braith "Looker" Anasta and his incompetant band of sluggish fcuk knuckles.

But having said that, the Roosters have so much in their favour tonight that it would be Roosters or nothing for me on this game.

    Adding:

    Melbourne ml @ $1.61 (10)

This makes it a 20 unit MNF

    No.

    Chookins 8-14 pts?

    and Storm 2wenty something.

Retracting my Storm margin as I've parlayed them with the NYM (Mets) and D-backs, and juicing the Storm -3.

    That is all.
