I give the edge to a hungry Counties pack, coming off a tough late-game loss versus NH off two easy blowouts. It could be a photo finish so a decent ML is more attractive than laying the point and a half. If the weather holds, the total should go over and a couple of props look like pretty solid investments. Maybe the half time cap is the better option. If Canterbury dominates early they will probably rotate players and could just cruz in the second half.
You saw what their rotation players did to a better (than Southland) Hawkes Bay side. The weather is clear in Christchurch, Southland is in trouble. Not even the dodgy Kiwi refs can stop them from a hiding tongiht.
