Spain to win the World cup

9/2 is a great price, they have depth in every position, main rivals Brazil have to rely on aging players and they dont travel well, Argentina are a one man threat, the rest of the european teams look ordinary in comparisom to the euro 2008 winners who are still winning games easily and may be peaking at the right time.

the world cup has NEVER been held in Africa

I took Spain at 6/1 like 3 months ago for $800, but I dont neccessairly feel they will win it all, I just thought it was a great value play.

i think its a smart play, especially if your looking for hedge possibilities later in the tournament. you could do the same thing with brazil since they should make it deep enough to make money on the hedge 

i just felt it was better to tie my money up for 8 months then to blow or lose it doing something stupid.  (spain@6/1)
