Season Props

Do you guys ever play the win totals for the season? I'm really thinking about playing Oakland (I'm very confident in the over, and am not looking for advice on that), but I'm wondering if I really want a large wager tied up in a sportsbook for a season as long as baseballs. Have you guys done it before? How do you feel about it? Thanks

We'll have to agree to disagree but I'm curious as to your reasoning if you'd care to elaborate. Regarding your question, if you are properly bankrolled for the season, having a little tied up in futures shouldn't be a problem. I bet 2% of bankroll max, so making 10 futures bets doesn't affect me. Your finances should never effect your handicapping. There's never any reason to pass up good bets. Futures are the highest % bets you can make, if you know your sport. Lines can get pretty tight by midseason in baseball, when even experts are working on a thin margin.

For season bets...I love using TradeSports. This is the site where you buy/sell positions throughout the season. So, you can bet OAK to go OVER, but then cancell the bet whenever you want. This means you are not tied ALL season to your bet. It worked real well for NBA season wins, so I will try it with MLB. Good Luck.
