Worst odds to win Western Conference belong to Portland Trailblazers @ 500/1 ... Granted it's a far cry but Nate McMillan had tons of success in Seattle before taking over this Portland team that needed discipline and a defensive philosophy.
They've won 4 in a row now (granted most at home) and remain 5.5 games out of the last playoff spot but they're finally starting to peak.
$5 wins you $2500 if they pull of the unthinkable - but they have solid leadership in Nate who could very well surprise the critics down the stretch and grab that last playoff spot.
What to they say in Poker? A Chip and a Seat is all I need? If this team sneaks into the playoffs, 500/1 odds to win 3-rounds are worth $5.00.
Just my thoughts... don't look at me as a homer, I'm from Detroit and bet Bodog's max of $500 when Pistons were 8/1 to win NBA Finals... they're now 10/11 and I'm thrilled and praying for their perfect health (going on 3-years now) to continue!
