Ive been playing around with a new type of service (stocketmarketsportsdotcom), you buy shares in a team (pro-college), player (golfer/nascar driver) and they are offering futures for championship tournaments and so on.
The cool thing is your stock or issue is good for life, pays a dividend when your team/player wins and in racing, finishes in the top leader boards. Working with what we traditionally call the juice, being divied between the provider and the dividend pool, every buy and sell increases the game pot and season pot. Winning side plunders a portion of the losing side (percentage is representative of the ranking difference i.e. team ranked 20 beats number 1, the plunder percentage is higher then if it was reversed)
Because you invest, it is skill based so it is not grey area or recognized as a gaming service. In actuality, every share is a future as you can purchase shares in a low ranking team with the expectation that they will improve in time and win more games/matches.
I bought futures in the NCAA, UEFA and now Im waiting on the NBA futures.
In comparing what the books offer for a payoff and what the return is from the mutual pool format, I find a lot of value. As a team progresses, in the future format, the demand and value increases so you can unload to someone else at a price that was higher then your initial cost.
Im just starting to get the hang of this, the weekly leader board of traders shows some players are reaping in thousands a week in dividends. Sure would like to find more people who are playing this new service as it is like day trading sports and by utilizing it along with gaming services, if it is managed properly, can likely guarantee players who have good math and risk management skills will truly increase their profits and likely have a nest egg for years to come. Anyone out there using it? stockmarketsports ? Love to hear some feed back .
