Most favorites will come in for the Oscars. But, I do like George Clooney for supporting actor at + 2 1/2 to 1. Good chance he can beat Paul G. He did lose the SAG award thats why he isnt favored. But, he won a Golden Globe and has all the buzz because he will lose picture and director and the academy likes him and wants to give him something. Any one else like some long shots

What do you think about Clonney at +1696 for director. That's quite a price and often the director of the best picture will not get the nod unless the academy is really in love with the movie and I wonder if that will be the case with bareback mountain. Do you think any of the obvious heavy favorites are worth a play or not? I would hate to give up -479 on Hoffman for Actor, but could that actually be a good bet?

I think Ang Lee is almost a lock for Director, but to big of a price to gibe. I took Reese -250 a month ago but now it is much higher.-479 is not a bad price for Hoffman he should win. As for best picture is a 2 horse race between Brokeback Mountain and Crash. Sounds like BM is running out of steam lately.

i got 2 1/2 to 1 on Clooney on sportsbook. It is down to the 2-5 favorite

Clooney is now 9-5 on sportsbook, good value

anyone else hit Clooney or some good Academy pay outs. I went 10 & 3 & won over 1,300
