Their offseason started off brutal in my opinion but bounced back a bit with Swisher.
Their offense is going to be fun to watch. Then you got Buehrle, Contreras, Vazquez who will benefit from some run support but their bullpen could be terrible with their 7-8-9 guys just not being as good as they used to be, it should be interesting to see how Jenks does this year.
Playing in the tough American League right now I have to say:

Now that Santana is gone, I expect the Twins to finish 4th in that division just ahead of the Royals. One would have to think that if you finish third in the division your record would be above .500

White Sox are in a pretty tough division. God forbid the Royals accidentally improve.
Bet with your head, not your heart. Rule #1. I'd find another team, something you're more comfortable with, and bet that. Otherwise, you get close to the number, you and your friend could end up yelling at each other, AND YOU'RE BOTH FANS! Believe me, money will get in the way of a friendship.........
But, if you just can't resist, just have to have a "rooting" interest for the year, do your homework!
Spring training. Don't go by w-l record. Find out who's gonna help and who ain't. Super rookie breakthrough? Injuries? You gotta wait. You gotta keep track of this not only for your team, but others in the division. Last week of ST manager usually put the A-team on the field.

I definitely see them going over. I love the changes they made in the offseason: Swisher, Orlando Cabrera and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting someone. The Twins got way weaker without Santana; the White Sox will beat up on them now. Also, the Indians didn't do much to improve.
Also, Buhrle, Contreras and Vazquez won't be as shaky next year.
