Off to the great North East for The Travelers Championship being played at TPC River Highlands. Nice little Par 70 measuring just over 6,800 yds. Driving accuracy and distance are the key this week. Good, long ball strikers usually prevail here. The greens are pretty flat and not all that difficult. (Duke won last year and he's usually around the bottom in SGP.)

    Defending Champ is Ken Duke

Yep, River Highlands is an easy course. I can easily shoot in the mid 60's from the back tee and low 60's if my putter gets hot. My point is any scratch golfer like myself can shoot a low score at River Highlands.  Having said that, Bubba Watson should prevail with his length.  He makes River Highlands looks like putt putt mini golf.

How about a guy like Dustin Johnston? I know he's a favorite but he seems like a solid choice?

    btw,
I'm newer to golf betting, what are some tips you guys can throw my way? Do lots of you only bet outright winners? As I see top 20 finishes to be real drawing or top 10 finishes

It's crazy because he was just as bad when he won in 2012...actually worse in the first two...WAY better in scrambling back then though

    huh.....

Dustin is always a good bet, especially where length is a factor.

Playing to win futures is a crapshoot and a waste of money IMO...play H2H matchups and/or Top 10's...

StevenC...if you are a scratch golfer you are not shooting in the low 60's at this course...if you could shoot that low you would be a +handicap player

Overall for this week I think it's a good week for foreigners.  They have done very well this year overall and have shown the ability to go low.

Some easy ones on 5dimes that I would recommend would be Seung Yul-Noh over Michael Thompson (Tourn.) and Brendan DeJonge over Kevin Chappell (Tourn.)

Just a warning. Chappell has been in arizona all week working with his instructor (Blackburn) I heard he made some gains So I believe if clicks he may play well but if he gets uncomfortable could be bad.

didn't you say somewhere on here that Pinehurst wasn't that tough and you could shoot low enough to contend with Kaymer? If you are so good, why are you on Covers talking about how great you are and not on the Web.com or PGA tour?

A little late, but I was leaning Keegan. Day getting back in the groove made it a no play though.
