Hometown tournament this week!! I was very lucky to play this course two weeks ago, so I should know what it takes to win there. 

Accuracy off the tee is important, but not a must. With the crazy winter and the loss of their maintenance shed (storm totaled the shed and all the equipment inside) the rough is a little weak and inconsistent this year. A lot of tight, dog-legged fairways awaits them though. Being a Par 70 with only two Par 5's, Par 4 performance is very important. And as always, you got to roll the rock!!

Good luck this week AJ! You going to go watch live I'm assuming? Look forward to piggie backing your picks. One of my big donations is Mr Woodland. Texas boy, playing good, and I think due.

Ah man you know that's tough. Wide open these days. All you can do is try to find guys with some form or close to finding form, good course history and are strong in key stats specific to that track. Looks like a trend of "people nobody is talking about" winning tournaments this year. While doing some research tonight I came across one guy who has most of the above requirements. 

Justin Hicks...6th Dri. Acc...4th GIR's...44 SGP...only ding is par 4 performance (96th). You have got to score on the par 4's at The Nelson (what us Texans call it.) 

So what does it take to do well on Par 4's you ask? 

Simple....fairway, green, 1 putt. 

Good short iron/wedge players. 

Kind of like Paul Casey and Streb too....IF I were to put my money on winners

I was having a hard time keeping my train of thought watching this sorry azz baseball game. And yes, even though we're down by 8, I'm still watching!
After our 9th shutout of the season last night, we're getting thumped by the Stros and a pitcher named Keuchel, who's about to go the distance....BUT my under is still alive!!

Good luck this week. Tournament is 5 miles from my house and I am leaving for Myrtle Beach. Didnt even get thru pre Q this year for monday Q but snuck thru US Open locals yesterday. You want a couple fliers for the week. A couple of hometown guys not named Spieth!! I think Danny Lee plays well. This is a true home game as this is where he plays daily. The other is Martin Flores. Great form. From Mansfield. Just my 2 cents

US Open...sweet man. Good luck with that!  
Flores and Lee are for sure on my radar this week. No matchups for them available right now though.

Just had a vendor that I do business with at work bring me two tickets!! Taking the wife to her first live event! Not sure Saturday or Sunday yet....
