Ogilvy hasn't played this tournament since 2010.
He did win it back to back years.
Hasn't finished in the top 25 in his last 3 starts.
Bae played okay last year on this course
Last two starts 1rst and 5th
Obviously everyone is coming off of a break so we will see how it all shakes out.

Fair enough.
Course history is very high on my list when handicapping golf and trumps current form IMO. If the player is a past champ, then the grade is even higher.
Aussie's play VERY well in the wind as well (hence the two victories for Ogilvy)

I don't think Bae's head is in this right now. He is about to enter a legal battle with the gov't of South Korea, who wants him to return, so he can enlist in the military.

I don't think so Jmits...you need a clear mind, no distractions. I don't believe playing will be enough. Too many negitives for Bae, couple of positives for Ogilvy sway me towards him.

Caught my eye yesterday but I couldn't pull the trigger.
Matsuyama seems a bit sharper to start the year off than Walker has....
Jimmy has had his time to shine....Matsuyama is still grinding for that limelight

AJ - Happy New Year amigo!
I have been reading your posts for a couple years now, and was wondering if you kept your overall record last year, and if so what was it?
Best of luck this year. My picks:
To Win:
Ogilvy 35-1, Walker 14-1, Kirk 16-1, Henley 38-1, Stallings 52-1.
Jumping on your turney match ups on Henley (+105) vs Clark, Ogilvy (-105) vs Bae.

I did keep a record, but I can't find the most up to date thread. I would guess around 55% and slightly down on the units for the year.
If you've been keeping up with me, then you know what I'm about. My strong points are Tourny/3rd/final round matchups. Very good history in Majors as well. I'm sure a few guys here would vouch for that. Going to be A LOT more selective with my picks this year, concentrating more on Tourny matchups with less 1st/2nd round picks.
Thanks for reading my thread and Good luck Boss!!
