The biggest disappointment from this week was not laying the farm on Woodland ov Tiger. I feel bad I didn't push that play harder, and I won't make that mistake again. That should've been mortgage payments for the next 6 years. It was the dream matchup, and I didn't play it up big enough. This was a week I'll never forget cause that wager should've been played 5 times as big as I played it, and I can't miss those opportunities moving forward.
I do have a couple of thoughts to share with people after the tournament.
1. As weird as it sounds, we have a window in the next few tournaments to fade Jason Day. I don't know if his back is still not 100% or if it's something in his swing, but he's not right, and the books are still pairing him up against Dustin Johnson. Right now there are lots of golfers I would take over Jason Day in matchups and I would feel great about it. Dustin, Spieth, Justin Thomas, Reed, Howell, Molinari, Phil, Woodland, Matsuyama, Adam Scott, Stenson, Rose, Snedeker.
2. Still going to be looking to support Charles Howell. He lost a matchup this week, but still looked great, and had another great finish.
3. Other guys to support who may be undervalued in H2H matchups in the next few week. Tony Finau, Emiliano Grillo, Russell Knox, Brendan Steele, Gary Woodland, Francesco Molinari, Brian Harman, Pat Perez, Paul Casey. Hoping for some matchups with these guys to jump on.
