From the little I saw last night of the course, my bag would be lighter as i dont have a ball retreiver to use!!!!! I'm guessin 2 sleeves.

The scoring will pick up today and sunday a bit with the wind substantially less - still a very challenging course with the redesign. Fun to watch

I also have some time off this week....should I go to the Valspar tourney for a day or a spring training game?

Decided on golf tourney...will be there Sunday hopefully cheering on Carl Pettersson and Will MacKenzie in a playoff

FIRST IDEA FOR THE PLAYOFFS.....


16 teams...bracket format  (We should be able to have 20+ finish the year)

Works out well with the 4 playoff events since there would be four rounds

#1 seed gets a +1...#2 seed gets a +2 and so on and so forth.

Picks will be private messaged to me in order to keep secrecy.

If (and hopefully when) I am in the playoffs, we will have to select another player to volunteer to receive my opponents pick...which they can then send to me once the tournament starts.

Oh...and I was VERY interested in Will MacKenzie's performance today!!  He probably thought I was a stalker or a g.ay lover with the attention I gave him.

ANOTHER RANDOM IDEA TO MAKE THINGS MORE INTERESTING

Before each tournament I will select a random round for a BONUS POINT opportunity.  You will still make your two selections for the week.  I will name the round that the bonus will apply to...you will select a player.  If that player shoots the LOWEST ROUND of that day...you will receive a -5 bonus.

Let me know what you think.  It's more work for me...but I think it would be fun.  If I select the 3rd or 4th round...you WOULD NOT get the opportunity to change your pick if they miss the cut.  You would also NOT be able to select any of your two selected players for that week, however any players are open game, whether or not you have used them already in the season.
