Question

I have caught the Gambling Bug this year. and had a lot of success with organization and contemplating my thoughts using covers. Feels like a blog about gambling, which works for me... I don't think anyone cares anyway

Anyway I threw $3k into a FIVEdimz through a local book of mine. Will post my bets. Hopefully we can get some Mojo and be able to lay the wood on an outright winner bet for Sunday. I have no issues losing all this money but I hope I don't.

I am gonna try to stay away from longer term match up bets as I won;t be able to churn the money.

- This play was is a straight fade of Camillo. Unforunately for me, in golf betting there has to be a player on the other side of the bet. Camillo's putting stats are abysmal this year as they have been every year of his career. he doesnt crack the top 100 in strokes gaines, total putting, or 3 putt avoidance.

He's not in the top 75 in any scrambling category either. His short game has gotten worse, not better since 2009 where he finished 13th. I am very confident Camillo is over par tomorrow. Mr. Jaidee just has to give me something Even or better and this is cashed.

Was able to watch a few hours while working today. Good Stuff. Congrats to Speith, best opening round I have seen in a Major.. ever. But hope he fades. I stand to make Big Boy Money if Ernie can win this thing.

Villages played a bad round today but got away with even par because of a lot of luck. 40 plays were even par or better today. I needed Jaidee to be one of them, he wasnt and I lose money.

Well You can't win the Masters on Thursday, but you can lose it.... Holmes, Donald and Sneds are out of this thing IMO.

I don't think I am out of this thing yet, but today was not very promising. But if ELS wins... :)

Other notes. I may be wrong but I think Speith is gonna make the cut... lol... so that already is a loser, just need the book to post the loss. Was hoping the hole in one would come today with the good conditions.

Took about $1500 worth of credit from the book, which I HATE HATE HATE to do, I always prefer to buy in. but I went 4-2 on thursday and just had an issue with allocation. After watching the first round I feel confident in so many plays.

Friday is do or die for me, if I am down 1k or more after friday, I'll hav to write a check to cover my credit, NOT FUN. and will be discouraged enough to back out of this tourney. But I will have some futures pending.

- One thing that is clear to me is that Brooks Koepka is hurting. He is at Augusta because, well... its the masters. If you can swing the club you would play too. But the adrenaline he had to start his round today will not be as prevalent on friday. He started out well but faded late. I would be very very surprised if he broke par on friday, even more surprised if he makes the cut.

he's done his best, he's put on brave face, but it is time to go home. I feel there is a possibility of withdrawal as well, and these bets have action as long as he tees off. If this guy is healthy LOOK OUT, he could win a couple of these major thingies.

The beauty of this play is Matt Kucher is an excellent golfer and will play well tomorrow at a course he has had success at.

Well there were two big swings today. Firstly, Woodland.... guy plays decently well and just fades away on the back side today. If he pars 18 its a $380 swing for me... Disappointing for me, even more diappointing for him I am sure.

The second big swing, Duffy goes nuts in the last 4, I mean good for him, he makes the cut and can play the weekend, but it definately cost me a winning day. hurt a little that Haas Bogeyed 17 but he came back with birdie on 18 to salvage a half push. I feel bad for both of them having to pay with Crenshaw, i think they will play better on the weekend without the old men dragging the pace down.

There were other swings too though. Holmes redeemed himself and closed well to beat Sneds.

I am still alive in this thing despite the fact I have been hammered by my large plays.

Would have loved a hole in one to come today... Less guys playing, the odds get lower and lower with the weekend.

Augusta doesn&#x27;t want this to be a runaway.  They have impossible pins on 1, 4, 7, 10, 14, 17  e might see them all on Sat.WIth that said I have 3 large plays that I have made.- Why ride Els when he has earned me nothing so far?  Because he could shoot even par with his eyes closed on this course.  This is his 21st Masters and he has shown no signs that he is gonna put in a dud round.  Also, I will cite Kevin Na&#x27;s 3rd round scoring average.  Keven Na has made his living making cuts and cashing checks, but doing nothing on the weekend.- Weisberger is the 42nd ranked player in the world, he is one the rise at 29 and has played well in his first masters.  Erik Compton is 117th in the World and has accomplished one thing, a T2 in the 2014 US Open lightyears behind the winner.  He is lucky to be here and kudos to him for making the cut, but where a Weisberger will play in this thing 10 more times in his career, this is Compton&#x27;s last ride, and he knows it.  Either he will play aggressive and shoot a high number, or he will try to play safe and get eaten up by the tough pins.- I have been waiting years for Ogilvy to show some life in this tourney.  He has made the cut, is hitting fairways, and greens and seems to have turned the corner with his relationship with this course.  With tough pins on Saturday, he is one of a handful of guys that hits the ball with that high draw that can get it close.  If he putts decently well he should get past Noh.  Noh is an outstanding player that will contend in majors in the future but I will take my chances with a position against him in his first Masters weekend.- also I think Poulter vs Clarke is a great value play despite the juice.Once again I am confident, but I am a prime fade candidate at this point. I wanna strangle Geoff Ogilvy. Skanks his tee shot on 17, and 3 putts 18 from 20 feet... and its a $1065 swing.... things like that have cost me time and time again in this tournament.

But I am sticking to my guns.... I have seen everything I need to see from Speith at 18 today. that chip will never be duplicated. He will come through tomorrow.... I am just glad he doubled 16 so it wasnt that expensive to add to the paly

- I think there is great value in the Hoffman play. Phil plays on the cusp of a terrible round every time he gets aggressive here. Sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn't. He knows he has to start out early, but I see him being even par or worse on the second 9. Hoffman was steady eddy today and I commend him for that. I don't think he has the desire to do anything but play well and put up a good number. Phil is playing Win or Bust Golf. I'll take the value on what is a coin flip play in the 2nd to last group.

Stricker was actually up 1 on 17 tee and tiger hit the water.  but tiger made par and Stricker made bogey.  Then tiger birdies 18  and eeks it out,,,Paid for a play on Sean OHair for Sunday.
