Ok...time for a post from somebody who doesn't live in New York or Texas running their mouth about how great their team is. Did Dallas suck during their last 3 games? Yes. Did they have anything to play for during those last 3 games? NO. Are the Giants playing really well right now? Yes. Does this make a huge difference in this game? NO.
Against the Patriots the Giants went balls to the wall trying to get a win, and came up short. Unlike what Spytheweb has said, the Patriots were up by 10 points at the end, before giving up a late touchdown. What ended up happening in that game though is they got HURT. O'Hara and Madison most notably. Now the Bucs weren't able to take advantage of that because they are not that type of team. They are a run it down your throat and hope for one big play from Galloway type of team. The loss of Sam Madison will be a major factor in this game. Who is going to cover Crayton, and Owens, and Glenn, and Witten? In the Pats game, Brady had 356 yards passing and 2 td's. This game is going to be a replay of that. Eli has been playing out of his mind the past couple weeks, and this may continue this week. But looking at the Giants defense vs. the Cowboys offense, you have to figure he is going to have to put up at least 30 points to win the game. Excluding the game vs. Washington where the Cowboys clearly did not give a damn about the game....guess how many 100-yard rushers they have allowed?? ZERO! Eli is going to have to carry this team today...and I just don't think with the weapons the Cowboys have at receiver and the beat up Giants defense that Junior Manning can put up that many points.

Not usually much of a pro fan, but nothing else to watch/gamble on these days. I hit a 3 unit teaser yesterday with GB -2, and Jax +20. I feel the same strategy will work today. Still playing with lots of house money from college, so I am betting 5 units on a teaser with NYG +13 and Indy -4 (if the lines haven't moved). Will decide after I get back from getting a little sun. Also tempted to throw an over in on the Dallas/NY game to give me even more points to play with. Any thoughts on that addition would be appreciated since I don't usually play teasers and not as versed on how tough that 3rd play is to hit. Thanks.

I have stayed off the posts this year as it seems these threads have become more about competition between posters and whose team is better as opposed to last year when the threads were about helping each other win money.
The NY Giants have killed me this year, but the spread does seem rather large and NY is a great road team. And yes, in the past bye week teams have been dismal, but that trend was put to rest yesterday with 2 bye week teams winning decisively.

Well I won't get to watch this game since I'll be on the road back to Texas (finally ending my Christmas vacation today) but I am leaning hard on the over. Small lean on Dallas but probably will just stick to the over. Hoping San Diego pulls through for me so I won't have to stress about this one on the road too much. Watch out I might be the bad driver on the road listening to espn radio getting ticked off when something bad happens

I am looking at the over on the Dallas game, but undecided about the other part of the tease. Considering your rec, but just feel a little more comfortable with two TDs. Your bet on the Boys saounds good too, just have to decide which is safer. I feel either way on the game bet with the six point move is pretty safe. Good luck to you today. Yeah I always feel comfortable with the 13 pts to Macallan, just always like to tease the team that is more capable of blowing the other team out...sometimes 13 isn't enough...gl2u though...
With Peyton out I guess I'll cheer for the boys the rest of the way...got to change my avatar to hopefully reverse some cowboy mojo...and she's not to bad on the eyes either.
