I've read all the crap being written here and I'ts sick. Everyone here gambles and when you gamble you need to know what you're dealing with. So here is what you need to know:
1.In the 40 or so years that football has had the Superbowl and Playoffs. Just 4 teams have beaten an opponent 3 times in a season. Not gonna happen again.
2. Here are the avg. yards per game:
Rush Off. Pass Off.
Giants 137.9 194.5
Packers 92.0 277.1
Cowboys 116.3 263.9
Seahawks 96.8 242.0
Colts 110.7 259.0
Patriots 120.3 293.0
Chargers 127.9 191.5
Jaguars 153.0 202.9
Does anyone see how balanced the Giants are on Offense as opposed to the rest of the NFC teams.
3. Of course the Jessica Simpson fiasco.
4. Remember Romo fumbling the ball in last years playoff loss? I wonder if anyone has brought that up at practice?
5. The bye week. Go back during the season and see how many teams you wagered on after the bye week and actually won.
6.Oh yea almost forgot. Wade Phillips. Are you kidding me? He's 0-3 in playoff games. That's O and 3. Don't you remember him benching Doug Flutie after Flutie started 15 straight games and got the Bills to the playoffs in favor of Rob Johnson? Who? What?
What's he gonna do if Dallas gets in a tough spot?
C'mon people..............Giants cover here..........maybe they win outright. Puhleeze.............Wade Phillips?

Oh yea another thing...............If it weren't for the Giants coming away with a field goal instead of a touchdown against the Pats. We're talking 15-1. The Giants marched up and down the field against the Pats. D.
And since the 45- 35 loss the the Boys on Sept. 9th in Dallas. The Giants have won 8 straight on the road.

I think one of these young qb's screw up big time!!! I gotta think its person again, hes got flash backs from last year and all the pressure is on him. Manning and the G-Men are playing good football and got the playoff monkey off his back.

Wonbadapple- so, you've got it all figured out huh? Wish I was your bookie. If it is so easy to see that the giants are going to win, why are they a 7.5 point dog? Dude, sit down, drink a beer and realize something: Vegas is pretty damn good and they know what they are doing. How do you think they build all those great casinos, hotels and restaurants?

These posts remind me of all the Green Bay fans before the Dallas/Green Bay game. They gave all the reasons that GB was going to kill Dallas...didn't happen. Bet with your head New York fans... you're not that good this year. I realize the Knicks suck, but you'll have the Yankees in spring training soon.

Giants Fans continue to show the world why they are not that smart, You lost the first two times what makes you think you'll win the third. Not to mention Jeremy Shockey will be watching this game on the sidelines. I can't believe the amount of people that have written off the Cowboys.
Tony Romo will come to play and Eli will do what he does best choke, The Giants beat Tampa Bay at home and all of a sudden they are the hottest team in the NFC big deal if they win on the road they lost on the road in Dallas this year and that's all that matters.
There is no reason for me to post any stats about these two teams the Cowboys are just overall better. Cocknocker said it right Cowboys in a laugher

There will be laughter, but it will come from the other side of that hump back field you call Texas stadium.
Did you watch the last game against NY? NY had no trouble moving the
ball against Dallas. Dallas had 1 yard rushing the whole game. I could
get a 1 and 1/2 yards by just falling over the LOS myself.
I guess Dallas will be pulling their players by halftime to rest them for GB/Seahawk game.
I seen Romo doing his share gagging this season. Who has more pressure on them, Cowbillies or Giants?
TO will play but how much a blow to Dallas' ego will it be when TO hurts himself again and can't continue.
This is the NFC East, week 15 vs. Eagles, Cowbillies score 6 points
(2 FGs). Week 17 vs. Redskins Cowbillies score 6 points (2 FGs) and
rushed for 1 yard. Week before the Eagles game should have been a loss
against the Lions. Cowbillies didn't cover the spread in any of these
games.
The Cowbillies like Gen. Armstrong Custer who said "take no prisoners" Then it was he who was slaughtered.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

You are bringing out the most ridiculous stats that have nothing to do with this match up we beat you guys once we beat you guys twice and we are gonna beat you guys three times. You have a joke of a quarterback who will always live in his brothers shadow. Just remember one thing we have way too many weapons there is a reason our team leads the pro bowl in selections.
I don't even know why I wasted my time reading what you wrote, I now know i'll never make that mistake again

Is there anyway we can just give the Superbowl win to the Giants now and "spare" the teams they have to play in the future the imbarissment and humiliation of getting blown out by the might Giants??? I can't believe that 95% of this post is all over the Giants. The Giants have been up and down all season but now after playing the Pats close and beating a too rested and out of sync Tampa offense they are the second coming...WTF!!! I have a strong feeling that the Giants will show their true colors on Sunday to a Dallas team that has been much more consistent and at home . DALLAS 31...GIANTS 13

You have got to be out of your mind to talk about Romo that way. The guy is worth every penny and by no means am I a Dallas fan.
Chew on this real quick here are the best seasons by a Dallas QB
Don Meredith 2805 yards 24 TD
Roger Staubach 3586 yards 27 TD
Danny White 3980 yards 29 TD
Troy Aikmen 3445 yards 23 TD
Tony Romo this year 4211 yards 36 TD
try saying this guy isnt worth the money!
Hey Coverdatspred...
You are correct with the stats, but what I am referring to is how he performs when the pressure is on...and it will be on this weekend. On paper, the boys should be able to handle the g-men with ease. Espec considering that they are at home. And that's all I'm sayin...BUT...I just don't have any confidence in Romo to deliver. We shall see what happens tomorrow night! I hope I'm wrong and that you are right about him. Over & out.

Don't worry he will come to play. He has had a great season and will continue to show everyone what he's about in the playoffs this team is well rested and should come out of the gate early.
Look at what happened to seattle everyone got caught up in the hype and Green Bay handled them.
Don't get caught up in this Giants hype

Well, well, well. Here we are again for the 3rd time this
season. For the first time in NFL history the NY Giants will meet the Dallas
Cowboys in the playoffs. New York is coming
off an impressive 10 point victory @ TampaBay. Dallas is coming off the first round bye.
Once again ESPN and all the writers have been swept off their feet by the
surging giants. Eli looks to have turned the page in coming off his first
playoff victory in his 4 years, also tied a season high 4 TD passes in a loss
against New England.
Now these teams are so strangers to each other. After all they are
division rivals. The Giants will get their rare chance to redeem
themselves after being swept in the season series.
New York
leads the league in sacks featuring a great front 4. They will be matched up
against a very big and physical offensive line that has gotten the best of the
giants in the 2 previous matchups this season. Dallas starting center Andre Gurode is back
after a knee sprain, and him and RG Davis are a huge presence in the middle.
They should be able to create running lanes and hold their own against the
giants pass rush.
The linebacking core behind the Giants superb D-Line will be missing starting
LB Mathias Kiwanuka this time around. Kawika Mitchell is banged up, and is
questionable. Besides Pierce their linebackers are average at best, and will
have their hands full trying to cover Witten
and covering J. Jones and Barber on pass routes. This defense has a big hole
right in the middle of it that Jason Witten will try and take advantage of. He
will likely see some double teams and that will create 1 on 1's downfield.
And yes folks, it looks like Owens will play. And I will take him over any one
of their corners, even with his iffy ankle. Their best corner Sam Madison didn't
play last week, and hasn't practiced this week. So the rook Aaron Ross will be
thrown into the playoff fire. Dallas
will also be getting Terry Glenn back, how effective will be be? I don’t know,
but I've read he has had a good week of practice and he will play.
Besides all of the TO's ankle talk, the REST of this Dallas team is the healthiest they have been
all season. Terrence Newman and Anthony Henry will be starting together for
only the second time or third time this season. This will force year long
starter Jacque Reeves into the nickel and dime packages. Reeves was the most
targeted cornerback in the entire NFL this season. This should boost cowboy’s
coverage units and give the pass rush more time to get to Eli.
The Giants are going to need to rely on three rookies on
offense.With the loss of Jeremy
Shockey, fifth round pick Kevis Boss is going to need to step up.I doubt he can bring the intensity and
leadership that Shockey brought, but everything I’ve read on the guy he is 6’6”
and has good hands, but he is slow. How
is Boss’s blocking?Because there is a
good chance Dallas
will overload his side. They are also
going to need a big effort from rookie RB Ahmad Bradshaw, who has good speed to
compliment Jacobs’s power.Is he a
liability in blitz pickup?WR Steve
Smith is also going to need to step up for Eli and present himself as a target,
because he has had trouble getting open this season. That’s some pretty key roles on your offense
right there, and you want to put your money in some rookie’s hands?
Since Shockey went down, the Giants has transformed into a
dink and dunk passing offense.This
could also be due to Plaxico and his bad ankle, and lack of downfield
threats. The Giants need to be able to
run the ball here.If Jacobs can get 4
and 5 yards a carry on 1st and 2nd down then it could be
a close game. They key for Dallas will be good tackling, I saw a lot of broken
tackles in that Tampa
game.Dallas will be ready for the run, its no
secret….just buckle up your chinstrap.The
Giants could be without starting center O’Hara, and if he is out then you will
see pressure up the middle that Tampa
did not bring.NT Jay Ratliff has played
very well in place of injured Jason Fergusen, in fact earning a contract
extension.Tank Johnson has also found a
niche on this team and he does good job of taking up double teams and holding
the LOS.
Dallas
has the homefield advantage combined with and extra week to prepare and get
players healthy.Yet I have seen little
to no love for the #1 seed in the NFC just because of going 2-2 down the
stretch.I expect this team to be fired
up and ready to play at the top of their game.Do not listen to ESPN, do not but into the Giants hype. They did the same shit last week with the
Redskins one how “hot” they were and look what happened.I’m am seeing 70% consensus on NYG at
wagerline.That 70% is a scary number
with the line moving in dallas
direction, that’s kind of shady.Everyone was on the redskins LW, and the home
favorite won.Just something to think
about…

I hope that there are a lot of big plays on the under. I would love to see that line go down.
NYG should have given up at least 20 points to TB. There is no comparison between TB's strategy/offesive playmakers and those of Dal. On the other side, Manning is playing his best ball of the season. Both teams will be able to run enough to keep the pass rushers honest. As long as both Burress and Owens stay healthy, they will make their plays. Owens has a little easier route due to the NYG secondary replacement(s). I see both teams scoring points. I think 7 is a good numbers. Dallas Offense is good for 4 TD's and NYG is good for 3. If there are turnovers and/or big special teams plays, this could come close to going over in the 1st half like the GB/Sea game.

Goning to lay it down for everyone. Lived in Dallas my whole life no tis isnt the team from the 90's but make no mistake THE BOYS will hand eli the ass whippen of his young life. I would not be surprised if he is knocked out in the first half.

This one is the most difficult game of the weekend. It's hard to ignore two 10+ point wins for the 'Boys vs. the GMen this year, but I'm still leaning slightly toward NY. I think the 'Boys late season performances show they are not sharp and my gut tells me TO is not the 100% Dallas wants us to believe. I wouldn't be shocked if Dallas wins, but I don't think they cover. Everyone is hyping this weekend as the "best weekend of NFL" this year. Well, if it weren't for GB gift wrapping 14 points to SEA that game would've been a rout. The Pats never trailed after their first possession, I expect the Colts to pound SD--so that leaves this game as the last chance for something shocking/exciting to happen. Leaning toward the over as well.
