Damn skippy, this is the NFL East! Cowboys blow their ####. Who are the Cowbillies?, don't believe the hype. The Cowbillies can't cover their @ss with both hands. The Pats beat them at home by 21, Pats beat the Giants by 3. Eagles should not have beat the Cowbillies but in the same Div. everybody hates the female bullboys. Dallas is fat cating it. Yea they should win it, like the Bucz rested and with +15 turnover and NY with -9 and Eli giving away the games. Let's see they were saying, with the game on the line who do you trust, Eli or Garcia? Many went with Garcia, and loss money. Dallas' running game had 1 yd last game, Owens is the talk this week, i think that if Owens were 100% the Giants would still win. Right now the Giants have a better running game and passing game don't look too bad. The passing "D" looks better, Pats had a late TD to win the game, but the NYGs were on top of it and Dallas does not have a better passing than NE.

Romo has yet to win a playoff game. What game will Romo have a 4 TD game or a 4 int game.

Remember when undefeated NE and Dallas played at home, Dallas couldn't cover the pass, and loss by 21. They are not playing better ball now. NY takes this SU, play the money line and make money.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Spyweb- for all your comparisons to how these teams played against New England, consider this: They are not playing New England...they are playing each other and the Cowboys have beat the giants both times.  It's right in front of you, but you are searching for a reason to say your team will win.  Look at the matchup problems the giants have had against the Cowboys this year.  Root for your team, but play the over if you want to make some money.  Both teams will score big.  The rested home team will end the giants impressive run.

This keeps on leaving an impression of a set-up. The more I hear about Romo's personal life, his bad form & the cowpokes bad form in general; the more I'm leanin toward the Cowboys.
 
I live outside DC; and I can hear the words of our once great mayor- Marion Barry(in being busted for drugs...) "the bitch set me up". 
 
Anybody got a feel for how the Cowboys are practicin this week? Are the pads poppin? If anyones got a whisperword on that...
 
Granted, Im not totally sold on the pokes, but I feel this has all the ingredients for what the books love best; public money large on the wrong side of a blowout. As I stated yesterday a.m., lots of news re Cowboy distractions- sports news turning into gossip columns for housewives- The G-Men hitten their stride. Hot they are w/ Eli leading the way. They are settin us up for a big payday.... their own!!!  
 
Its Ali's rope-a-dope in a NFL playoff fromat.... or, at least, it could be. So please, look before you leap.
 
Im a skins fan and happen to be very certain of my assesment of the cowpokes intensity- here, during the reg season finale: On an intensity scale from 1-10, I would call it a 4 (maybe even too generous.) We gonna see that again. No friggin way. 
 
Even if I'm wrong (happens plenty my brothers), still have Eli- who could easily blow this thing up himself.
 
If anyone has news on 'boys practice intensity let us know. The media may be right about one thing; its about the 'boys ability to step up. I just sense that were gettin a narrow perspective. There seems like no other news is pertinent now; Romos willy dippin, and T.O.'s high ankle sprain, Cowboys bad form.

Since the AFL-NFL merger teams have met in the playoffs 17 times with one teaming having a chance to sweep all three meetings.  The season sweep has happened 11 times out of those 17.  I have always thought it was much harder to beat a NFL team 3 times in the same season I guess I was wrong. 
 
IMO the press being all over Romo is only making him more focused on winning this game.  I think the real Tony Romo shows up in this one and tosses 3-4 TD passes.  The Cowboys have certainly not played well down the stretch but this is still a very good team.
 
The Giants on the otherhand are playing their best ball of the season going into this game.  I bet huge last week against them and I got to eat Crow on Sunday for dinner.  I think if I touch this game at all I will go after the over

The rumor here in Dallas is that Wade Phillips asked Jason Garret to scale the offense back after the Green Bay game.  Dallas had essentially locked up the number 1 seed, so they went to a basic "vanilla" offense so that teams couldn't prepare for them when it came playoff time.  Now, it is playoff time.  Expect to see some new things from the Cowboy offense and the giants defense looking confused.  The giants are good and they'll score too, but they'll overpursue from the ends and Romo will make them pay.  The safe bet is on the over.

This weekend, we finally get to find out IF Tony Romo is worth all that money they signed him for this past season. I said it then and I will say it again...they should have waited until after the season (and playoffs) to sign this guy. He MUST win this weekend and the next round as well and take his team to the Superbowl for me to be convinced that he really is worth the money.

When you really take the time to watch Romo, he really doesn't do that much. He passes the ball off to his backs 90% of the time it seems and every once in a blue moon, he manages to throw a completion down the field sometimes resulting in a big gain or a maybe even a TD. But for the most part, he really doesn't do that much out there. Just watch and you will see what I mean. He's certainly NOT in the same league as Manning (you know which one), Brady, Favre, etc..

I would play this one (and all of the games this weekend, for that matter) very close...like within a 7 pt spread. But that's just me.

I'm a Cowboys fan so I hope that they come out on top, but I am nervous. DAL 17...NYG 14.

You have got to be out of your mind to talk about Romo that way.  The guy is worth every penny and by no means am I a Dallas fan.

Chew on this real quick here are the best seasons by a Dallas QB

Don Meredith 2805 yards 24 TD

Roger Staubach 3586 yards 27 TD

Danny White 3980 yards 29 TD

Troy Aikmen 3445 yards 23 TD

Tony Romo this year 4211 yards 36 TD

try saying this guy isnt worth the money!

The rested home team? Would that be Tampa Bay? 2 of the Dallas'  last loses came from NFC East teams, week 15 and 17, in those 2 games Dallas scored 4 FGs and then they take 2 weeks off. You're right about the over, but with great risk comes great rewards. Play 1 ticket over and a parlay, Giants/over. I think the NYGs can win SU and even better stay within the number.

Scratching my head on this one big time...if Eli doesn't turn the ball over then the giants are extremely tough to beat...last week though, he shut me up...so i can't use my "Eli will choke in big games" method to wagering....
 
It seems to me that Dallas won by 11 and 10 against them in the first 2 meetings...so I'm going to go small on any line under 10.5 ...
 
Dallas gets it cranked up...they can pass..Tampa couldn't...and NYG db's are suspect...even with that helluva pass rush!!!

Tampa was a bag full of nothing and it showed.  This will be a real playoff game against 2 very good teams.  Dallas is a little bit better and by the 4th quarter the giants will be throwing on every down trying to catch up.  Cowboys will win this matchup.  Looks like the over is the play.

colonel Jim...glad to see you on NY....coverditty....not glad to see you on boy's.....I am a g-men fan....however....unlike some of the cowboy fans being nervous......I am nervous about laying $ even at +7.5.....why...Eli...........if Giants O'line protects him...gets passes under his belt.....settles in......Dallas will lose.......if he gets picked off, rattled and Giants turn to run game...could see Dallas covering spread.  G-men D have to have huge game shutting down barber....and forcing Romo into crappy decisions throws......Romo could easily choke in this game as well.....he has great stats and a hell of lot more poise than his counterpart, but.....this is playoffs and latter half of season was'nt jaw dropping.....DET/PHIL/ WASh (nogame)....Carolina..Have to believe G-men make this 1 possesion game if not win......or cover.....This game looks to be best ML this weekend if you want to roll the dice.
If healthy Dallas D gets to Manning with Home Noise....Giants are finished.....to make it simple....basically you are betting on Eli Manning and that is scary

Dallas at 1H would look good.....but then again....Dallas has been 2H team this year.....Tampa was jamming G-men O' early in the game. Not too quick to jump on the over this game.....but cant see either team resorting to run game...Dallas D and G-men D more than capable of shutting run game down......game with Phil sticks in my mind and shouldnt....since both totals were over in their meetings this year....over would be logical choice.....then again so would taking dallas and points......going to wait until gameday for piks

Any Cowboy fans uncomfortable with Romo and Whitten hanging out on a beach in Mexico during the bye week?  If Romo was quarterbacking my team and he blew a play to win us a game in the playoffs last year I sure as hell would want him buckling down watching film of possible opponents or working out as opposed to drinking Margaritas!  It won't be a big deal if the Cowboys win but if he has another rough game in the playoffs and they lose you can certainly blame his lack of concentration and dedication can't you?  Why open yourself up to that kind of criticism?  Especially after last year.  Could you imagine Manning, Brady, or Farve doing that before they ever had won a big game for their team?  +7.5 is starting to look good to me and I never thought I'd back Eli Manning in a playoff game.

In the last game vs. Dallas Jacob's TD was called back and Bradshaw's 83 yard kickoff return was called back. NY had no trouble moving the ball on Dallas.
