    New Orleans (-3) 33 CHICAGO 27

Just as the Saints looked like they were getting their act together with a convincing win in Pittsburgh, they fell back down with a major league 10-41 beating at home to a bad Panthers team. At 5-8 they share the division lead with the Falcons (they lose the tiebreaker) so the division title and a shot at the playoffs are still within reach. I expect a rebound performance from the Saints in this game against a Bears team that has been losing both games and key players recently. Neither defense is very good but the Saints have a clear advantage on offense. New Orleans has both run and passed the ball well this season (averaging 421 total yards at 6.2 yppl against teams that allow 356 yards at 5.6 yppl) and will face a Chicago defense that has allowed 379 total yards at 6.2 yppl to teams that typically gain 348 yards at 5.5 yppl). Drew Brees and Sean Payton should be able to put up points against a suspect Bears scheme that has lost key players recently to injury. Bears LB Lance Briggs was put on IR recently and this past week LB DJ Williams was also lost for the season, thinning out the middle of an already bad defense.

When the Bears have the ball, they’ll conduct their passing offense without the services of WR Brandon Marshall as he was also placed on IR this week and that should hurt a passing offense that has been below average this season (gaining 6.2 yps against teams that allow 6.4 yps). Cutler has been a turnover machine (2nd in the league with 15 interceptions and first in the league with 21 turnovers) and without his security blanket he could be in a bit of trouble against a Saints defense that will attempt to attack.

The Bears are eliminated from playoff contention while the Saints would love to get a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. There are situations going both ways in this one but the Saints are the more talented and more desperate team and will be focused to play well after their embarrassing loss last week which prompted a shakeup around the Saints facility this week by coach Peyton (benching Kenny Vaccaro).

Not sure which team to back.  Chicago without Marshall is tough to back, even with him, can't do it.  Not sure about the weather yet.

    Saints -3

leaning Under, but if the weather is fine... Going OV!!!

    New Orleans ML Over Chicago!

    Game Analysis...(not my own)

"New Orleans 33 - CHICAGO 24—Meeting of the two more wildly inconsistent teams in the NFL this season. However, New Orleans is at least likely to have its same head coach, QB, and defensive coordinator next season. Such can’t be said for Chicago. Even though the Saints have now compiled four straight Superdome losses (after routing the Packers), they have won their last two on the road (at Carolina & Pittsburgh). Plus, New Orleans—even at 5-8—is still quite alive in the “you take it, I don’t want it” NFC South. WR Brandon Marshall (ribs, lung) is out for the Bears, while insiders say injuries and a lack of speed have resulted in the Chicago defense resorting to simplified, easily decoded schemes. Saints “Over” 9-3-1 This Year."

New Orleans ML (-145) Over Chicago!   3 Units!

3 Units!

Too much turmoil and it has become a circus media in da Bears lockeroom.  Saints still in it and will be prepared.

Saints should be ready for this game, this game screams over but watch out for the saints to shut Cutler down.

I wouldn't bet on any side. Agree two bad defenses. Now some will say NO has the better offense with Brees but guess what their offense is worth nothing with the way their defense plays right now. I honestly think this game should be a pick'em. I think Saints are favored here by -3 since they beat Pittsburgh  in week 13 and Carolina in week 9 on the road.

Hard for me to take the Saints. This would basically mean that I trust their defense to get stops. I don't trust their defense right now. They have all sorts of issues.
I can see why the over is set so high at 54.Easy scoring could be result with these two defenses. When both sides have some kind of pride in their defense (I doubt it) they should tighten up their D to stay in the game.
I l ike the over 54 in this game.

Looking at the standing I would say that the Saints (in theory) should be more motivated than Chicago in this game because New Orleans still has a good chance to win the poor NFC South division this year. Considering this would maybe justify to take the Saints (but again their defense plays poorly)

    Taking the over 54. GLTA.

marshall is out but watch out for marquess wilson. don't know how the rapport is with cutler but he is good. and jeffery, bennett and forte out of the backfield are all excellent receivers. their offense has been so dysfunctional that even though on paper they should be able to put up 30+ points on the abysmal saints' defense, it's hard to call. but it's MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, over city with two all time horrible defenses and two quarterbacks who like to throw. the only reason this game doesn't go over is chaos and dissension in the locker rooms.

The Saints are really bad, horrible special teams, beyond horrible defense, Brees can't catch a break with dropped balls either. Tough to back such a bad team. Probably going to be a lot of clock stoppages all game with 70-30 pass run ratio on both sides. The Prime-Time Square over is most likely the best angle here. Good luck homies

Saints on the road are a joke, and you can't rely on the Bears either. I will say the Bears got a decent pass rush, and Breese is havin a bad year.  Also public on the road favorite.  This is a game for the degenerates.  This pains me to say "take the home dog".

    my pick: Bears +3

I am a NOLA resident and Saints fan, and I can honestly say that our defense is poor, at best.  Rob Ryan makes horrible defensive calls and our secondary is prone to give up big plays.  Keep an eye out for playing status of Junior Gallette.  If he cannot go then our defensive line will be gashed.  He is really our only threat to get to the QB.

I think Chicago has plenty of playmakers left without Brandon Marshall and the over is the way to go.  Wouldn't touch a side with a 10 foot pole, as who knows what you will get from these two teams.  I will be waiting for a good in-game play.  If the scoring starts early it probably wont stop

I know these defenses both suck but the Over is a trap bet here...  Weather is 45 deg with 10mph SE winds with 60% chance of showers, that will dictate more short passes and the run game, and I foresee multiple turnovers with a slick wet ball tonight...  Under is the play.

2 turrible defenses. 2 inconsistent offenses. 2 teams with uncertainty surrounding them. What a mess of a game. Hard to take the Saints on the road in the cold. Over looks good...

Can't trust either of these turds right now....
Never can trust CUNTler. But Brees, Payton and the Taints have never been worse... Up and down as any team in the league.
Smacked by the Ravens at home, go on the road and beat Blitzburgh, then hammered by Scam and Company at home.. what gives?

This is a great opportunity to take a "Movie Night" with the Mrs because there's no telling what the hell is going to happen tonight...

Distracted Bears, desperate Saints, empty feeling Saints, losing to Carolina 41-10 at home.MY,my, my!!Do you think they will be ready for the bad news bears?? I'm willing to wager they are.High scoring game, two lousy defenses, except one thing, what defense will show up for New Orleans?Thats the problem with the over and under,so I'll just go with a dime on the Saints SU and pray.Maybe I can get my first born back from my bookie.

Chicago 5:15 p.m. light constant rain .... Big Bear fan but not in this spot. Slight lean on N.O. Saints -3. Bears locker room is a reported mess. but...anything can happen in this game. At the start of the season I would have leaned towards the Bears.

Breakabookie home dog on Monday night football...

Saints offensive line has been playing terrible and giving Brees no time to throw....

Not that da bears have anything resembling a pass rush...

Saints are a dome team and are playing outside of their comort zone on the road in a cold windy rainy soldier field.

Gotta go with the home team.

Forte should be able to keep Brees & Company off the field... maybe trestman will pound the rock instead of letting Cutler throw 40+ times.

I'll throw a small wager on the ml as well.

    Gl to all!

Wow, really everybody? Everyone still buying into the Saints? Drew Brees on the road in the cold, not to mention they suck. "Fighting" to go 6-10 to "win" the NFC South?

Wow, a lot of people have really drank the Kool-Aid..... Vegas cleans up tonight.... Yeah, the Bears stink and are out of the playoffs, but it is still Soldier Field in primetime on Monday Night in late December........

Bears and Crappy Cutler win in a landslide.................

+160 seems like a Christmas gift

    Good Luck Everybody.............
