We can talk stats all day long but there's 3 KEY factors that we should pay total attention to:
1. The #1 scoring offense going into week 4 against a team that is struggling to score.
2. This is a big AFC conference game. NE has won 84% of all AFC conference games in the past 8 years.
3. And most importantly........Monday Night football and the football world is watching.....NE just does not lose !

Miami ranks #4 in pass D... but, c'mon... that's against a now unemployed Trent Edwards, a rusty Brett Favre, and Mark Sanchez.
These two teams combined for one sack LW... so, don't look for alot of pressure on the QBs tonight.
New England now 28th in the league in scoring D, 27th in yds allowed, 25th in passing D, and 20th in rushing D... these have gotta be the worst stats ever compiled by a Belichick coached team. Pats have already allowed 28 pts to struggling Cincinnati, 28 to the Jets... and, good grief: 30 pts to Buffalo with none other than Ryan Fitzpatrick at the controls of 375 yds of offensive production!
Hard to imagine Dolphins not doing the same tonight... in the same stadium that they and Jets scored 56 last weekend... and where Dolphins went 7-1 "over LY.
(NOTE: The only game in Miami that didn't go "over" LY was New England but... that was a fluke. Pats had nearly 450 total yds, 416 yds for Miami. Brady, 2 picks; Moss only 2 catches; Henne 335 yds passing.)

Why does everyone in this thread insist on playing a public fade? And why does everyone here think the money for tonight's game is on Miami? Does Vegas or offshore books really have to publicly post actual trends and numbers to everyone? Just count how many people in this thread alone are on the Dolphins and really then decide what the public is betting on.

I just can't bring myself to bet against Belichick & Brady on the big stage "MNF". And I just can't stay way from betting on "MNF". So I will have to take the Pats tonight, small play. I think Brady will put up enough points and the Fins will score on the Pats weak D. Large play on the over. GL to all.

Hey Big D! How Ya doing buddy? Keep the insight comin on the Phins, any of you guys who follow a certain team let us know. The info is helpful. With the Pats offense and defense it looks like the over is the play. I kinda like the Phins but betting against Brady is always scary. Guess I won't. GLTA!

I have two takes on this game first the Total.. the line has moved up 3-4 pts since it was released are we to believe the odds makers missed that the a majority of the action was going to come in on the over on a monday night? all the hype is that this will be a shootout and ya gotta score 40+ to beat the patriots, reminds me of all the ESPN hype about the bears-GB shootout which posted a 37 pt total. I found it laughable that Gruden who had hyped the shootout all week decided to flip flop on national tv and say Dont expect a high scoring game these 2 teams no each other so well its gonna be hard to move the ball! Next the side my initial reaction to NE -1 was as im sure everyones NE blows em out but if they dont they def win!! Wow exactly what the odds makers wanted us to think.. then it oddly swung to miami -1 why to get more NE money unfortunatly ir brought more teaser than flat and some took the gift of NE +7.5 and over 40 hence in my opinion why we have the big total move and the line swing
im going FINS and under GLTA!!
