Teasers are great on certain teams and situations. I can't take extra points on really bad teams. If they are average to very good then I will.

Your right: my guess is that Peyton Manning waited for the game to get real close and have the line in jeopardy before he decided to really get on his game. He obviously does not care about winning and getting another ring. Money is the only thing that drives him.

This game is easy for so many people.. Toughest game for me... Brady has a week off and probably studied Panthers' defense on every aspect. Panthers' defense is really good but I am not convinced on their wins.. especially vs Niners. Brady is not Kaepernick.. he doesn't hold on to the ball and giving himself option to run it like Kaepernick.. I think that's where Niners were in trouble. Panthers came in knowing Kaepernick might run the ball. This is tough because Patriots has been doing poorly on road.. but I will give them the benefit of a doubt because of the BYE week. I also like Brady on Monday games.

wagered sporting events that for one reason or another are “in bed” with the
Wise Men in Vegas.

I'm not sure where you get your stats from, as the Pats have lost only 1 game coming off a bye since 2003.
Did I say the Pats typically lose the game while coming off a bye? No sir. You my friend, must be a rookie because there's a huge difference in a teams winning record and their ATS record. Again, the Pats are 1-3-1 ATS the past give games out of a bye. Carolina BIG to cover -1 at home on primetime.
P.S. I must be doing something right, considering the majority of the public disagrees with me. Vegas wasn't built by betting with the public...

So no bet for me because if I had to pick I would take Carolina only because I'm starting to become a fan of their defense. I'm just going to enjoy the game. I think the line is right where it needs to be.
