If you think the YIKES are gonna win then bet on them. If you think saints are gonna win, then bet on them. you should only come to sites like these and read threads to get an idea. You shouldn't let it corrupt your judgement.Who am i to tell u who to pick?

so breakanookie GL to you. i hope your considering is working out for you. i haven't hit that parlay yet saints are the last team on my card. So who knows maybe i'll win because of the saints...maybe i'll lose. vise versa.

I just think you should post your losses also.....

While these systems boil away the use of "gut instinct" and "the eyeball test", they do have their merits over the long term as trends do seem to develop over a period of time FOR A REASON.  I am having a hard time being completely objective as I am a huge Vikings fan and we badly need this one. 

All that said, I have that gut feeling that the Vikes are going to get it done because the Saints have been notorious over the last 3 years with Drew Brees for getting hot in 2 game stretches then going ice cold offensively - which is all this team has since its defense is a complete sieve and is missing key players.  The Vikes were in last week's game until a late turnover against one of the best defenses in the league and have been very competitive in all their games and have literally been a play or two away from covering and/or getting the SU win(s).  So.....  3 plays:

PROP BET: Neither team will score 3 consecutive times w/out the other team scoring (conversions excluded): +180

I see a very competitive, physical game in which the Vikings defense is predictably stout and Brees is limited in his effectiveness, especially with the deep ball against which the Vikes have been very effective w/the Vikings winning 24-20.  Feedback definitely welcome!!!

I am on the Saints mainly because of the Home Field atmosphere in that stadium.... and just like was said by gobigblue4ever, the Saints can't stop the pass, but aren't bad against the run.... they now have Jonathan Vilma.... but The Vikings are one of the best run-stopping teams in the league.... So I just can envision tosses to the outside to Bush and little checkdowns by Drew Brees to the safe short throw.... mix a little duece in there and the viking defense will be on their heels.... I can see the saints relying on spreading out the Viking D.... but I do not see a blowout.... Adrian Peterson will keep it from being a blowout.... but I think Gus Frodo will not be able to win this game on the road in that kind of atmosphere.... no matter what the Saints are putting up points.... ... I am only taking the OVER becuase of the trend, which has hit ever week so far (that is OVER ON MNF)....

I would not tease this game..... I like as you said to add a cushion to an Underdog, or make the OVER a softer play.... but while getting 3 i wouldn't take the Vikes and the over in a tease becuase if the Vikes win it will be because their defense dominates and would then be a low scoring game.... If you HAVE to tease, I would make the SAINTS the underdog and take the OVER....

I really only tease when there is a HOME DOG playing a team not in the TOP 5 power rankings and giving them a double digit Spread.... but I like reverses better than TEASES

WOW!!! Maybe I looked @ it wrong but when I last looked @ the 3 consecutive scores prop bet last night it was +180, placed it a few minutes ago @ +140.  Still like the payout though...  BreakaBookie - good points.  Bottom line: it seems like we are both envisioning a fairly tight ball game but we just don't quite agree on who will be able to impose their will and dictate the tempo.  Tempo will be EVERYTHING; if Minnesota can control the clock (I think they can and will), NO will not be able to establish rhythm and we'll see MIN get a small lead and grind it out in the 4th quarter w/NO making a late push.

Interesting stat to watch as the game unfolds: Minnesota has lost 40 straight games when trailing entering the fourth quarter dating back to that 1997 Wildcard game against the Giants when they won after recovering the late onside kick.  So if MIN is on the wrong side of it entering the 4th......
