When is K.C. going to get at least a little bit of respect?
 
+14 1/2 for sure!
 
Again, so far this year I think the only favorite that has covered a double digit spread as a favorite was the Giants over the 49ers.
 
That won't change on this game.  Tampa has a gread D and K.C. scored on them last week.  No way does S.D. cover 14 1/2, regardless of a bye week.

Agreed! I have been riding the double digit dogs and they have been winning. No reason to stop now.

I think Thigpen is the best QB option for the Chiefs, regardless of injuries.  He brings the run dimension to the position, and apparently the receiving one too.  LT should be lickin his chops going against one of the worst run D's, but I'm with everyone else, gotta ride the double-digit underdog.  Look at what Detroit almost did to Chicago last week.

I can see SD losing str8 up.... KC plays them tough every year....

Remember last year when KC was equally as disgraceful and they went into SD... it was "LT vs. LJ" and SD was favored by 12.....

I think double digits with any division opponent is good.... look at CHI and DET....

the only thing that scares me is that SD is off a bye and needs to win this division matchup.... but even if they lose, they are still taking that division... Denver has been playing terrible.... so IS IT A MUST-WIN????

SD is obviously the better team.... but 14 1/2.... they aren't the '07 Patriots...

This QB is pretty good, and KC secondary isn't bad either.... we shall see....

All I know is I was on KC last week and the whole thread chewed me out....

Easy play on KC here. San Diego is getting way too much respect still. As a few of you mentioned Double Digit Dogs have been $$$ this year. I've been on them all year and won't stop until the trend ends. BTW... this is up to 16 now. Could be 17 by game time! Gotta love it.

I really like San Diego here.  I know the trend about double digit dogs but I see that changing Sunday.  The Chargers are one the most talented teams in the NFL, to bad they have Norv Turner as their coach.  Kansas City should have won against Tampa Bay and did play the Jets close but I don't think they getting better.  Tampa Bay was not ready and the Jets have been horrible ATS as a favorite. San Diego is coming off a bye and I think they will be focused on this game. Their talent will show up on Sunday.

The lock of the year.....listen up people:
 
 KC has been in games to the dying seconds of games ans I don't see this one any different.  The Chargers have proved nothing this year so far.  They have the worst pass D in the NFL and have looked nothing like the team that went to the AFC Finals last year.  Tyler Thigpen is improving and i see this game being alot closer than the bookies do.  I think the over is a wise play as well

I'm sorry to everyone in this thread, but if you gamble regularly and you're actually taking KC in this game, you should think about quitting gambling.
The play is clearly SD.

I was so excited to finally see everybody on the same page in a forum, until I got to this quote & the one after it. NO NFL TEAM should ever be over a 2 touchdown underdog, I don't care who's playing against who!!! Whenever you see that big of a spread, take the dog, I don't care who the team is!!!!!!! All of use saying KC are suckers and the bookies are calling you suckers!!! Everyone jumped on KC when it was 14.5 they still jumped it up to 16. Making even more people lean toward KC...THE CHARGERS ARE COMING OFF A BYE!!! They have under-achieved all year and this will be the first time we see them play a complete game on both sides of the ball...They win by 24 in this one...

Somebody is going to be served a big bowl of crybaby soup when this is over......KC has improved in the past weeks.....Tampa Bay had grey hairs trying to beat them last week....let's hope its a good game!
