let's see......I picked New England to cover against the Jets last week. Just look at the Ne V Jets spread.  Everyone and their mamma just naturally assumed the pats would lose 3 in a row (hasn't been done in damn near 9 years?) and would lose to dirty sanchez.  .

I dont give a F****  what the spread says.  Take New England - whatever....-10 or -14.  I wouldn't touch KC with a 20 foot pole. I wouldn't be shocked if Ne is favored by -20.     and I would definately bet the over / Under.   I know New England will score. But I'm not sure about Kc.  I probably...would bet the Under if the Over/ under is around 50.  if it's 42 or 45 I would be a lil nervous.  It doesn't matter a whole lot if New england has a horribly ranked Defense. ask Jets backers last week how "horrible" new England's defense looked last week.

i like kc with palko alot of new england coaches on the kc sidelines they know how to play against the pats but i wldnt bet much on this game

Cassel out Palko in. Palko a backup since 2007, similar skill set as Cassel... Ex Pat insiders running the show at KC, but KC with 28th worse offense and 28th worse run defense. KC is going to show up for this game, and look for lots of FG's and clock eating possessions. Under.

NE always had a hard time with KC but KC has been playing like they were playing in the beginning of the year.  KC will continue the free fall.

Im with Brady and company.  Brady will get what he wants here and KC will just sit there and take it.

Has any team been favored by this much against anybody this season? I know Green Bay hasn't and seems to me they're undefeated, not 6-3 with THE ABSOLUTE, BY FAR, NOT EVEN CLOSE, NO QUESTIONS ASKED WORST DEFENSE IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE!

Also, the Over/Under at just 46.5 - - Vegas is planting a 38-3, 40-0 Patriots win scenario in your head. You're being brainwashed and you don't even know it.

So, you're putting that much validity in the "awesomeness" of Matt Cassel that if he's out, the Chiefs are absoluteley lost and done? Who is he, Peyton Manning? You really think this team revolves 100% around Matt Friggin' Cassel??? This is an entire league of professional atheletes, and it's always "next man up" (i.e. Tebow, and also, Matt Cassel on the Pats when Brady went down a few years ago)

I'll take the 16 points all day, any day, on any team, against anybody, in any era, with any coach (living or deceased), in any stadium (standing or demolished)

Now, the over/under is a different story - I'll probably tease some points down, and take the over - because if you're taking the Chiefs, you're taking the over...........

I couldn't agree more. How many times does this scenario have to play out before people figure it out? You named a few Quad, but you left out Ponder as well. This is still a PRO team, the second string QB isn't some bum, hes a PRO as well.

Bottom line is you don't know what you're going to get out of a backup QB, but it's still a pro team. The public over-reacts to starting QBs going down, and the line is driven up. I tend to stay away from games with variables such as these that suck value out of the game, but with a gun to my head I'll take the points vs a bad defense.
