There are a few things that stick out in my mind. Yes, the trends have been in keeping and very profitable. The main trend that I like is the Lakers NOT scoring as the normally do against the Celtic D. I agree and like the LAL team under.
However, for me, it still comes down to a fundamental question. That is which will prevail? The LAL offense...AT HOME no less, vs the vaunted Celtic D. I simply cant let go of the fact that the Celtics looked like used toilet paper in game 3 yet had a chance to win it. I think LAL will try to establish a fast paced high scoring game. So, that is why NO PLAY on the UNDER 1st Q, but I am taking the UNDER for the 1st 1/2 cuz I think it will be a tale of 2 quarters in the first half. One will be balls out fast and the other D and 1/2 court will dominate. But when the tire hits the road, once the euphoria of a screaming home court wears off this will come down to LAL offense vs Bos Defense and I think BOS D will prevail. This makes me take the UNDER for the game with a 1/2 pt buy.
Given that I am NOT a fan of Doc Rivers and the Celtics inability to go for the kill when given the opportunity, I am taking BOS +8 for the game.
So....my ticket is this....
UNDER 1st 1/2 95.5 1/2 BIG
UNDER GAME 192 (1/2 pt buy) BIG
BOS +8 (1/2 pt buy) BIG
LAL team UNDER 99.5 3/4 BIG
as usual......GLTA
