So majically, I guess, the Lakers are going to "snap out of it"?...or, win, cuz why???... they are at home...? Thats it?. Thats worth a 9.5 spread, - a win ?...
I guess the Celtics have no heart.
I guess the Celtics dont want it bad enough?
I guess Allen, Garnett, Posey, Pierce, and Rondo arent good enough.
I guess a trip to LA is going to stop the best defensive team this year.
I guess the boards and KG's all-too-easy-will-not-be-contained-I-shoot-at-will jumpshot is just gonna peter out...

Celts will win this game- and then, maybe someone will listen.

I believe after all the facts are in. Game 3 goes way under. Who gives a shit who wins.... I believe that the Under is as good as a bet gets in game 3. I expect this line to drop quite a bit by game time. Look for a 101-88 ish final. Boston has not score OVER 100 points on the road yet in the playoffs. Only 3 times in the last 35 road games.

Of course its worth something, but, the Lakers are not playing as a team. Kobe is frustrated and I could see in his eyes, ALL, and I mean ALL the pressure is on him, to win each game. He simply can not do it against the Celtic TEAM...and now, 2 games down- he knows it. Its 5 against 1. What have the Lakers showed us in their favor- zip. They are simply overmatched and the writing is on the wall. The celts smell blood, while Kobe and Co are lookin just not to get as embarrased as last game. 2 totally different mind sets. The Celts are going for the kill- they see the championship getting closer- This game 3 is about heart...and yes heart, over everything else will prevail in this one. The Lakers are on a sinking ship. Just for the record- I am a homer, but what I speak of is more than that- If anything at all its Celtic Pride. It sounds corney, but im here in Boston...the celts want that banner more than life itself- like the weather for a warrior- they aint even gonna feel the LA crowd. Pure ice water in their veins. Mark my words...they are a breed apart.

Please all of you laker backers cut the shit about whinning about the refs,the CELTICS are the best team in the NBA and they have proved it all season.
    You've got to remember the eastern conference is so much more physcial then the west and with those box europien players the lakers employe the CELTICS will roll to a 4 game sweep of the lakers.GOT the CELTS in hte series plus 155 for 20 units.take the points and $$$$$ line

As the game move back to LA, and for lakers this is a must win game, they will play hard, play more defence because they just need win, no matter how high the score no matter how urgly this game will be, they just need a win!!

First of all, the line Vegas put out is disgraceful.  If I'm the Celtics players (and they do know what the spreads are, trust me) I'd be downright pissed that Vegas is saying the Lakers are 9.5 points better.  Will that motivate them?  I would say yes.

I thought this would open Lakers -5 or 6 AT MOST.  Instead, we have the Lakers favored by almost double digits.  That's rediculous and I wouldn't recommend anyone laying that many points.  Boston is 8-2 on the road, however they beat a decent Pistons team in Detroit twice last series.  This shows they are getting better playing on the road these playoffs.  Forget the Hawks and Cavs series, that was ages ago. 

Of course, the Lakers will win tomorrow, there is no question about that as the refs will make sure of it.  Will they cover 9.5?  I wouldn't put my money on it.  So, I will most likely tease Boston with the O/U, not sure yet.

Something about their winning percentage being like 30% when having more than 19 shots/game and 70% when 19 or less?

Im with you nuts ... if anyone remember the Confident Suns (who thought they found their answer with Shaq vs. Spurs) if i recalled correctly *which i do, cuz the few losses ive had in the playoffs were betting for the Suns? (playin with my heart that time, i like the Suns)" . They lost close games that they could of, should of won, But freakin Didnt? Umm, lost first 2 close games at San Antonio.. So they thought n so did everyone else. THAT WHEN THEY GO BACK HOME, they will win for sure, the spread was at -7 to -9? N guess what,... They LOST! Y?  because the road team knew they had to play the hardest of all their road games on the 3rd game, To close the deal?
 
.... im thinkin the lakers are in pretty much the exact same position here... Goin home, disturbed that they should of and could of won those games. But dammit its the refs fault, its the crowd, its the fake injury, blah blah.. Wuteva they want to think? Its an EXCUSE! To themselves, and the Public... Therefore~ the Lakers are going to head into game 3 with the same mentality they had in games 1 and 2. ... HUBRIS? while the Celtics are going to play the same way they have been? With something to prove? especially since they almost blew a big lead? which will only make them humble and creating an understanding that this is not the time to relax? But only to play Just as hard and physical and if not Win? but at least cover the POInts? durr?????
ANYWAYz, iM getting a great deal with BOSTON to win series with only -140 juice and a 2-0 lead? Im risking 1/2 of what i earned this season on this bet. ( if im not mistaken only like a handful of teams ever won a playoff series when trailing 2-0?

2... if im not mistaken, many of us and most professional analyst's realize that Pierces is the key to winning? because garnett is already consistent and allen is usually productive. AND i just read that, Pierce grew up in Los Angeles and loves playing there? Thats why he averages 25+ points lifetime vs. Los Angeles LAKERS, n CLIPPERS.....
............OKAY now, think what you thought and say what you may, but use ur head and not your lonely heart when gambling? its buisiness after all?

i can't wait until game 4 to put more money into Boston to win this series... i don't know if i have ever seen a more generous betting line in my life... and if i wait until game 4 i am liable to get burned... because this game 3 is not going to be the sure thing win people are predicting... this is a 50/50 game, i promise you...
 
gonna double up at (-140), and if Boston loses, i am gonna double up both bets...
 
this series is so over, and it shocks me when i hear people saying "Boston will not win one in LA"...
 
hear this... Boston WILL win AT LEAST one in LA... that is a given, and how anyone can watch these first two games and not have figured that out is beyond me...
 
there is maybe a 60% chance this series gets back to Boston for game 6... bet accordingly...

it took me a while to read some of these posts but I have nowhere near the bankroll to play more than 2 units on LAL ML thats 1200$ to win 200$, so this play is out of the question for me. And honestly after my boy dropped 1K to play ML NE over Giants for 100$ I said to myself there is no value in that crap so don't do it.... ever.
 
the line does seem a little high, but all you have to do is fade the public and maybe buy a couple of points for insurance
 
79% of public is on BOS ML
71% is on BOS +9.5

I really doubt Vegas would put out a line that is going to pay 80% of the public, Vegas has been killing the public the last 2 games and the 1 thing you can count on is they are some greedy bastards.
 
I still think this line will drop to 8 or 8.5 by gametime and when it does I am buying it down to -6 and i can do that at -170 buying 2.5 and that makes much more sense to me

Remember the old saying; "If its too good to be true than it's probably is too good."

For that reason, I am taking the Lakers - points at game time and will also take the over. I will also parlay the two for a little cash. This line seems high to everyone but I think the Lakers cover here and win this game by 12.I think the final ends up being 107 - 95. I don't bet a lot but Ive seen lines likes before and everyone ends up on the wrong side. LA needs to prove they belong. If they lose this game by 7 or less they might end up losing the series in LA.
