"The Hawks can beat any team at home" , could be , butt win 3 in a row against the best team in the West with the best road record look like Utopia, please look the regular season records and remember who is the Atlanta Hawks, in other year with that numbers they shouldn´t be near to be in playoffs.

Again, you look at these 2 teams last 10 games, when Boston wins they cover as well, when Atl looses they loose against the spead also, So if you believe Bost. will win they they WILL cover, Atl. at home or not, they both know each other well now, & Bost is the superior team & will exploit Atl. Weaknesses, This will get ugly fast. Bost minus the chalk!! RDW.

Im on board with the concensus. Im not taking the O/U just because it could go either way i think. I have however dumped yet again my entire bankroll (now 385 instead of 450) due to the pens loss last night on two bets. One: (Boston Moneyline $285), and two: Parlay (Boston -8 & Cavs Moneyline $100)

The only reason I started playing on basketball was to play on the Celtics and it has worked! Am not abandoning them now or till they win the Champ(or are eliminated).
Plus Atlanta is the worst major sports city in America or at least the southeast. Ever been to a Braves game or a Falcons game? Just horrible fans that don't know how to do it right. Now it might be different at a Hawks game but I doubt it.
Lets shake up the books tonight!

So the Hawks get home after their Wed game Thursday morn at 4:30 am. Woodson calls a practice Thursday and works them hard....so hard that they complained about how tired they were and yet coach is still working them very hard. I'm thinking they'll come out hard the first half, but lose going away in the end. This game is going to be very physical. They did well to get here, but this series ends tonight.

PEOPLE, This game should go OVER the total. As far as the game, Home court has held. Home court has held. Home court has held. We all agree that the celts are a better team by far, but the celtics have NOT been able to get a win there. Why, we all must wonder, but until we know why, we must ask ourselves, WHAT HAS CHANGED FOR THE CELTICS TO GET A WIN NOW. NOTHING. I live here in Boston, I love the celtics, but I think we could see a game 7 here in a few days. Even if atlanta loses they will be close. The celtics are not Detroit. detroit has played together for several years now and the celtics are still rookies together compared to the pistons. the celtics wont be able to do what the pistons did yesterday. ATLANTA + points I will stay away from this game except for the total. OVER. Will bet the house GAME 7 on the celtics. go OVER

exactly... Boston is not Detroit... they lack the experience... Atlanta is not Philly... sure Philly played a bit better towards the end of the year, but that's off good coaching, a show runner in Andre Miller and good team play. The Hawks have much more talent, strength and athleticism, and Boston has sparked an unseen desire and determination that has brought this team together. This game will be intense and hard fought... some said that the whole C's jumping out to an early lead was proof as to how they can turn it on and steam roll the Hawks... I think that the way that the Hawks responded so quickly and established pace and grabbed the lead shows that they are able to compete... During the season, their biggest problem at home is that they'd start late and be forced to turn it on late, and they still had success beating all those teams that Kong mentioned. All I'm saying is that there is a HUGE homecourt advantage to playing in the garden, i'm sure noone would argue that. Just so there is a HUGE homecourt advantage to playing at the Phillips Arena, and for a young team like the Hawks, that homecourt advantage is the necessary ingredient in bringing their A game... that's why they won't get past the C's in the end, but that's why they will give them one hell of a ride... sorry guys, but I have to go with my gut and my experience this year but adrenaline and home/away intensity are not things that numbers can entirely quantify... If I lose here, I will not be bitter... if I don't play this and it hits, I will be kicking myself for the rest of the playoffs.
ATL half/game ATL total over 90 Over 188.5 1st half Over 95
(I know it's a lot of plays, but at least it gives me more than one thing to lean on and ALL of those have hit in the last 2 times they played there, so I'll take my chances on the hawks being underestimated again as they consistently have all season... A lot of people may know Boston really well, but few people outside of me and Kong that I've seen have made money off them being underestimated at home)
