Grand Prize Overview:

• The Grand Prize will be awarded through a draw at the end of the Contest.
• Every time a contestant wins the 1st place weekly prize, their name will be added into the draw for the Grand Prize.
  The Top 10 contestants at the end of the Contest will also have their names added into the Grand Prize draw.
•  As such, a contestant may have their name entered multiple times into the Grand Prize draw at the end of the contest.
• Grand Prize winner receives a $5,000 Free Play BetJamaica Betting Account with a 1x rollover required (Equivalent of 2 MLB World Series tickets, flights and hotel) 

Prize Requirements & Eligibility:

• All winners must have a registered BetJamaica account.
• To be eligible for the Top 10 and Grand Prizes, all accounts must have wagered a minimum of $100 in real money wagers at BetJamaica prior to September 1st, 2010 otherwise you will receive 25% of the free play value.
•  Weekly winners must have a registered BetJamaica account and have made at least $100 in real money wagers at BetJamaica during the 2010 MLB regular season.  *Your wager must be made anytime before Saturday 1pm EST of your prize winning week otherwise you will receive 25% of the free play value.
•  6x rollover required on all contest prizes (except for the Grand Prize). For example if you win the weekly $250 prize you will need to wager $250x 6 for a total of $1500 in the sportsbook before you can request a withdrawal.
•  Prizes are awarded as BetJamaica Free Play Betting Accounts.
•  Only one account per household/ IP address, multiple accounts not allowed.  ID may be requested for account verification

Tie Breaker Rules

For members who are tied with equal units:

(1)   Winning percentage

(2)   Total number of picks

(3)   Member who made the first pick within the contest (time stamp)

You only need to wager $100 by September 1, 2010 to be eligible for the Season-long prizes, but you have to wager $100 by every Saturday for the weekly prizes. That's weird. $100 for season long but $100 each week.

Yeah I am a little confused on this also. The weekly prize does not end until Sunday the 11th....but you have to wager your 100 by Saturday the 10th...is this right?

I am currently 3rd and would like clarification on this.

Barnstorm...If I read this right...once you wager 100 you are covered for both weekly and grand Prize. This being the 1st week, I would like to know when you have to wager for the weekly prize though

BookBeater -- I think you need to have $100 wagered by Saturday 4/10, and then you are then eligible for the weekly prizes and grand prize for the rest of the season.

Yeah...I put 100 on and bet two games yesterday....lost them both...lol

What does this mean  (otherwise you will receive 25% of the free play value) ?  If you don't wager $100 you'll receive what?

Hey everyone, new guy here. Canyou change your bet from 100 to 500 and if so how.

Here' how lucky I am...Saturday I am in 2nd place with a 16-2 record

Put a 100 on figuring I was in line for at least top ten...place 2 50 dollar bets....loser.

Sunday I go 0-3 and finish the week 12th

Are you saying$100.00 for the entire season,or $100.00 per week,for the weekly prize.

Once you wager $100, you are eligible for the full prize.

For example, you only wager $30 by Saturday 1pm EST on Week A and you end up in-the-money for the weekly prize in Week A, then you only get 25% of the prize. Then you wager $70 by Saturday 1pm EST on Week B, you are now eligible to win 100% of the prize if you are in-the-money for Weeks B and onwards.

I'm in first place, and I previously won at betjamaica, do I need to deposit $100 or no.  12-0 so far, how lucky am I...

also in the fine print if you win 250 you have to make 1500 in

wagers before you can withdrawl any money on the weekly prize

and on the grandprizes at the end the same loop hole apllies....for

example if you win 3000 you have to bet a total of 18000 in total

bets before withdrawl of any money.......

I won the first week mlb challenge, and received all my money, and did good gambling for a week, till I got greedy and parlayed to much money for too many times. shit sucks

September 1st has come and gone, so if we haven`t wagered $100 on bet jamica,we only get 25% of the winnings.
Is this a safe assumption

Came in second last week and was excited about my $200.  Got $50 because I have not bet enough with Bet-Jamaica. 

Pisses me off more than creates good will for Bet-Jamaica imo.
