During the day,the Beaver State has convict labor doing all the pumping.Since historically they're a people who believe in voodoo and other superstitions, they may walk off of their jobs.

The New Jersey ban on self pumping was old school mafia politics. Oregon? I have no idea. Elsewhere in the other 48 states I can't recall the last time someone killed themselves while pumping gas on their own.
