...but I stand by my original statement. Scal comes into the Politics forum and drops a link, that while pertaining to politics, also pertains to....wait for it.. gambling! On a sports handicapping related website, no less. What a novel concept, right? Most people, if you are a member of the covers family, you would figure most people would have some interest in the contents of said article but I doubt many do. I doubt if many people in this forum come to this site for anything other than the political forum. And many of those don't add anything of value. Ridiculous @ss statements and name calling. And if you're a grown man that comes on a site like covers just to cackle around a cauldron like some kind of coven, yeah, i'm gonna call you a real housewife. I don't feel thaf way about all posters. Take brother sundance. I give him shit about Alex Jones but at the end of the day, it's all love. I realize it's his prerogative to support whom ever be wants. There's a lot of guys I respect and get along with in this forum that i'm not calling out. The guys i'm calling out know who they are.

When you break it down like above ..no problem...however ..when you say ..These guys...you make it all inclusive..
Side note: Maybe many of the political posters do not want to comment to one of Scalbrine's threads.. as they still remember his failed BS predictions of political events in the past ..and his arguing about how he is correct ,even after the outcome has proven him to be wrong..

Hey, if the shoe fits, ya know? The guys in here I respect know who they are. And in all seriousness, there are probably more that I do than that I don't but it doesn't change the fact that we can sound like a bunch of puffs sometimes. Another analogy i've used is it's like two gangs arguing except it's the Sharks and the Jets from WestSide Story. Everybody sticking their chest out and acting all bad when really they're just singing f*cking show tunes, snapping their fingers and doing pirouettes. So while the comment was in jest, I meant every word of it and stand by it.

Trump won by 80,000 votes in 3 states after a Comey letter (SIGNFICANT drop off in support for Hillary after the release of that letter) and the DNNC literally sabotaging a guy who was up by 10 points on Trump head to head.
That is why it is the height of hilarity when Trump goes after Comey. He WON him the election. Literally. He should be on his knees for him. Deep state is right. FOR Trump, not against him...

Everything that could have gone wrong DID go wrong and Trump won the electoral college vote out of 130 million+ votes cast by a margin smaller than those who attended Penn State OSU.

Scal I don't understand how you can be so confident Trump won't win reelection. Since 1900 only 4 incumbents didn't win. Not counting Ford because he didn't win an election. Three didn't win because of either a depression or recession. Only Taft didn't win because of his soured relationship with Roosevelt. You need a recession, so get ready to cut your nose to ...........
As long as he keeps the base which he is it's another 6 years. The founding fathers wanted to give the President 8 years as it should be. Tough to accomplish anything in 4 years and then have to completely redo the cabinet etc., To be fair you can't have that strong of an opinion of a President after two years like you do, it's all personal like your're having lunch with him tomorrow.

No, the founding fathers did not limit a president to two terms.

Day after election. The shock of losing the house and narrowly having control of the senate republicans are stopped from passing laws.... the looming shut down in site and no one ready to even talk Christmas without the unnecessary part of the government..... trump expressed has completely derailed. As the White House begins to enact one executive action after the next... oh well Patriots are going to playoffs.
