    @UNIMAN

So these 7 suddenly took the high road to vote against a bill that was stuffed????

Every freaking bill is stuffed; otherwise nothing would ever get passed.

Foolish to hang your star to this dead horse wagon with these peckerheads holding the reins..

This exchange between 2 Senators is about 15 minutes but worth watching as it clearly shows our divide in Congress.

Ukraine: Moscow is mobilizing troops to expand its control over Donbas, following their withdrawal from Ukraine's north and towns around the capital, Kyiv. Fierce fighting is already under way in Luhansk, a Ukrainian presidential adviser said. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said peace talks have left the two sides further apart than they were in late March.

NATO: Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, in Brussels, pressed for more military assistance and said countries that continue to buy Russian oil or gas are supporting the “Russian war machine.” Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said the meeting addressed Ukraine’s need “for more air-defense systems, antitank weapons, lighter—but also heavier—weapons, and many different types of support.”

War-Crimes Accusations: The United Nations General Assembly voted to suspend Russia from its human-rights council after dead Ukrainian civilians were found over the past week when Russian troops retreated from towns near Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russian forces of seeking to destroy evidence of killings in areas under their control. Residents of Bucha described how Russian soldiers killed civilians during their monthlong occupation.

Sanctions: The U.S. Congress passed legislation stripping Russia of its trade status and ban Russian oil imports, while the Commerce Department began enforcing bans on the export of technology and industrial goods to Russia. Mr. Zelensky said new Western sanctions against Russia were too lenient.

NATO: Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, in Brussels, pressed for more military assistance and said countries that continue to buy Russian oil or gas are supporting the “Russian war machine.” Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said the meeting addressed Ukraine’s need “for more air-defense systems, antitank weapons, lighter—but also heavier—weapons, and many different types of support.” War-Crimes Accusations: The United Nations General Assembly voted to suspend Russia from its human-rights council after dead Ukrainian civilians were found over the past week when Russian troops retreated from towns near Kyiv. Source. https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/russia-ukraine-latest-news-2022-04-07

    Very interesting.....

Ukraine train station hit by two Tochka-U missiles killing 50. Picture of Ukrainian servicemen standing next to large piece of a Tochka-U missle at the train station. On the missle painted in Russian says "for the children".

Russia denies the strike and says they are not using the Tochka-U's but the Ukraine is using them.

    So I look on wikipedia;

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/OTR-21_Tochka

    • On 24 February 2022, Ukrainian forces launched a missile attack on Russian Millerovo Airbase in Rostov Oblast, using two Tochka-U ballistic missiles in response for the Russian invasion of Ukraine and to prevent further air strikes by the Russian air force against Ukraine. The attack left one Su-30SM destroyed on the ground.
    • On 24 February 2022, a 9M79 Tochka missile was allegedly used by Russian forces striking near a hospital building in Vuhledar, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, killing 4 civilians and wounding 10. Amnesty International investigation confirmed that a hospital was targeted, not a military target.
    • On 14 March 2022, the Russian Federation and the government of the separatist Donetsk People Republic blamed Ukrainian forces of launching a Tochka-U missile killing 23 civilians and wounding 28 in Donetsk.
    • On 24 March 2022, a Russian Navy Alligator-class landing ship Saratov that was docked in Beryansk port, Ukraine, caught fire and sunk. The attack was likely carried out by a Ukrainian ballistic Tochka-U missile.
    • On 8 April 2022, the railway station in Kramatorsk was hit by 2 Tochka-U ballistic missiles loaded with cluster Munitions. The attack killed at least 39 civilians and injured at least 87 more.

So who do you trust? I don't trust either one of them. Painting "for the children", really????? Somewhere there are satellite pictures showing where these missles came from.

It will never come out if it is. Doesn't fit the narrative.

Just the fact more proof doesn't come out makes it suspicious. If they had proof the Russian's are behind it we would see it in minutes.

Many years from now some truths will come out. Been that way forever.

For now one can only speculate.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, on a visit to Kyiv, Saturday vowed UK armoured vehicles and anti-ship missiles for Ukraine as he acclaimed its military for "the greatest feat of arms of the 21st century".
"It is because of President (Volodymyr) Zelensky's resolute leadership and the invincible heroism and courage of the Ukrainian people that (Vladimir) Putin's monstrous aims are being thwarted," he said after meeting Zelensky, according to a Downing Street statement.

    and anti-ship missiles.

This is a game changer. Long range anti ship middles can destroy air craft carriers and destroyers in the black sea.

This is three scenarios discussed in the BBC circulation that could escalate this conflict into a direct NATO Russo exchange.

There are a number of potential scenarios which will doubtless be occupying minds in Western defence ministries.

Here are just three of them:

    1. A Nato-supplied anti-ship missile fired by Ukrainian forces in Odesa hits and sinks a Russian warship offshore in the Black Sea with the loss of nearly 100 sailors and dozens of marines. A death toll of this magnitude in a single strike would be unprecedented and Putin would be under pressure to respond in some form.

    2. A Russian strategic missile strike targets a supply convoy of military hardware crossing from a Nato country, like Poland or Slovakia, into Ukraine. If casualties were sustained on Nato's side of the border that could potentially trigger Article 5 of Nato's constitution, bringing the entire alliance to the defence of the country attacked.

    3. Amidst fierce fighting in the Donbas an explosion occurs at an industrial facility resulting in the release of toxic chemical gases. While this has already occurred, there were no deaths reported. But were it to result in the sort of mass casualties seen in Syria's use of poison gas at Ghouta and if it were found to have been deliberately caused by Russian forces, then Nato would be obliged to respond.

Europe turns its back on Russian coal

    London (CNN Business)
European leaders have agreed to phase out Russian coal imports as part of a new package of sanctions triggered by evidence of atrocities in Bucha, Ukraine. An oil embargo could be next.

All forms of Russian coal will be banned from the European Union, a move that the European Commission said Friday would affect about €8 billion ($8.7 billion) worth of Russian exports per year. Europe plans to wind down imports over the next four months, an EU source told CNN Business.

Speaking of sanctions, Russia has sanctioned 398 of 435 member of our Congress.

Hmmm, that means 37 members were not sanctioned.

Phillips (D-NY), Curtis (R-UT) & Boyle (D-PA) have made comments on Twitter as to being on the list.

It's purely a Putin tit for tat move.

But if any are invested in Russia, maybe it's an issue  for them.
