 I'm just reporting news here 3rd.... the news report was an attempted drone strike on the kremlin.  Plenty of video of it out there so as the kids say, those are fax.... 

 But since you asked me to now opine on the matter.....first thoughts are it looked pretty much amateur so no official US involvement.  Ukraine faction separate from military would be guess....or Russia staged it.  Flip a coin.

Ukrainian counteroffensive is under way, according to Wagner mercenary group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin.  

In the area of Bakhmut, Prigozhin said Ukrainian armed forces "are hitting our flanks and, unfortunately, in some places they are being successful."*

Also Reuters has reported that Russian Ministry of Defence spokesman Igor Konashenkov acknowledged over one thousand Ukrainian troops and 40 tanks have attacked northern Bakhmut. Russians have to "retreat" from the , area, or been routed as Prigozhin proclaimed.
