In a White House speech on Thursday, Trump falsely claimed Medicaid is “left the same” by the bill.

FACT CHECK:

In fact, both the version of the legislation that was narrowly passed by the House in May and the latest version now being contemplated by the Senate contain major Medicaid policy changes and funding cuts that are expected to result in millions of people losing insurance coverage.

Fox news falsely claims that spending cuts won't harm people who deserve medicaid. Instead hundreds of hospital closures, thousands of preventable deaths and millions of Americans losing access to healthcare are expected in impact studies from Yale university, Kaiser family foundation and congress budget office.

And at that time no state had an average gas price lower than Mississippi’s $2.71 per gallon, according to data published by AAA.

I paid 3.09 yesterday which is at the mid range paid during the previous admin. Not sure why Trump must daily get into measuring stick contests with the world and it shows that he is more interested in being superior than being a leader and an inspiration.

Grocery prices in June were about 0.6% higher than they were in January, the month Trump was inaugurated.

Grocery prices did fall some this April, as egg prices dropped sharply after a spike caused by an avian flu outbreak, but grocery prices then INCREASED again in May and June.

In reality, prices have continued to increase during Trump’s second presidency. As of June, overall consumer prices were about 1.5% higher than they were in January 2025.

Given this overall increase in prices since January, it’s obvious that prices have gone up in various individual categories — so the president’s suggestion that not a single price has increased is clearly untrue.

 Trump made a signature campaign pledge [to harvest votes from suckers so that he could escape prison] to immediately bring prices down, not to keep prices increasing at a moderate pace.

Contrary to his claims, that promised decline hasn’t happened.

Inflation. Lets discuss Biden inflation vs Salary increases vs Trump inflation to salary increases. We can do EITHER Trump presidency, you get bitch slapped by reality either way. 

In two terms, Trump is lucky to inherit low inflation from Obama and Biden.  He didn't need to try to lower inflation.   Economists say US did a good job in taming inflation due to supply chain disruptions during Biden administration when compared to other countries.  But Trump economic policies are mostly inflationary in the long term.  For examples, tariffs, mass deportation, tax cuts and interfering with federal reserve.  Next year, loss of Obamacare subsidies is expected to increase healthcare insurance premiums by 75% on average.

You do know that for most of Bidens term there was a global pandemic right ? - Every countries economies were all over the place - also over here - and Biden has never been my leader

What you are saying is provably false. 

In Jan 2017 inflation was 2.5% when Trump took over. Under Trump there was never a single month, NOT ONE MONTH where inflation hit 3%.

On the flip side in Jan 2021 when Biden took over inflation was 1.4%.  Within 4 months it has spiked 275% to 5.4%. By 2022 most months were over 8.2% and June was the high of 9.1%.

Over the course of the Biden term REAL WAGES went down. Under Trump real wages went up the most of any President in 50+ years.
