I attended neither college, but if I don't have a bet on the game, I always root for liberal California in their traditional rivalry game with conservative Stanford.
I work with a Stanford graduate who is extremely brilliant (a law AND an accouting degree) who held our company together when the owners and an owner's son had health and psychiatric problems.
He has a nasty disposition and he tyrannized many of his secretaries who eventually quit or were discharged. Nearly everyone else in the office dislikes him.
He is a right-winger who is also deeply religious. I avoid any serious discussions with him.
