Trying to cash in on lecture tour...

I scanned the article ( because it has been posted before ) and didnt see where he said he was present at Abu Zubaydah waterboarding and where he gave information that was proven to be false.

Closest I came was him saying "There was no actionable intelligence gained from using enhanced interrogation techniques on Abu Zubaydah that wasn’t, or couldn’t have been, gained from regular tactics"

please copy / paste where Soufan acknowledges that he was present at an interrogation where Abu Zubaydah gave false information about the LA attacks

The question here fellas is not if we "agree" with torture, it is if we "endorse" it.
 
Torture will happen whether we want it or not but we CANNOT as a nation "endorse" it.
 
ApacheM knows this.

Circumstantial evidence can be examined in determining events and course of action

FACT- We were attacked numerous times during Clinton Administration...when enhanced techniques were not used

FACT- We were attacked on 9-11...when enhanced techniques were not used

FACT- We HAVE NOT been attacked SINCE 9-11....After enhanced techniques WERE used

I say give it about 3 years, and if the USA has suffered no more attacks ( and we know that enhanced techniques are not being used, rather than Obama SAYING they aren't being used ) then the evidence whether these techniques work or not will be more muddled.

Oh, torture DOES work by the way but simply can run around admitting it..... AND this waterboarding stuff sounds no worse than a cold shower.

umm, no, you guys have been claiming it works. It's up to you to prove that it does. Something you cannot and will not do. The reason it was used was because it was claimed that it works. Back that up. You are allergic to facts.

Linking the non use of torture to an attack is an artitrary statement.

Prove to me that it does work, and use FACTS.

We all know with 100 percent certainty that if there was a National Security issue and we had Ops on the scene, there would be torture whether it is legal or not.
 
Do you guys ever watch "The Unit"..... I do, and they are badasses.  They can torture people with eye contact.  Much more effective than silly toilet water dunking anyway.
